If you're running a #Bitcoin business from Europe, you've probably noticed that accepting bitcoin payments has become considerably more complicated as the final MiCA transition deadline passed in July. We've been a happy #Strike customer in Europe until July, but it's become so bad that we have to leave Strike, because their API simply doesn't work for us anymore and automated payments are completely out the window. We basically have to "attest" every incoming payment before it gets credited, which disrupts the payment process (and the whole purpose of lightning fast payments) and the customer ends up getting an error on their side until we entered the required KYC info about them. This is the case even for zaps of 21 sats or less. It's ridiculous. (I assume the same thing would happen with any other custodian.) The problem is that a) we do not have the info we're supposed to enter about our customers, and b) we consider it none of our business. To solve this, we have now registered #Bitvocation in Wyoming, U.S., to be able to transact more freely in bitcoin and remove all that unnecessary friction (and maybe become a Strike U.S. customer). I had thought of doing this years ago, but the process of registering a business in the U.S. as a foreigner seemed way too bureaucratic and tedious (and required sending a fax - yes really!!) So I never did it. But with this new motivation and necessity I looked into it again and found Bizee.com - a registration agent - and the whole thing went surprisingly smooth and fast! I know many of our European Bitvocation followers might be in the same situation and have side businesses that need a legal home - so I just wanted to share and recommend this agent. Depending on what your situation is, there might be many other benefits to having a business in the U.S., so it's worth looking into. For me, as a digital nomad, it solves a lot friction, and it gives my business a home, while I don't have one. Bizee.com was recommended to me, so I don't seem to be the only happy customer.
