The "we're so early" narrative is true, at least from my perspective, of the mainstream perception in Germany. A recent study shows the reasons for using bitcoin. I question the validity of this particular finding, as the sample was a biased group of "blockchain enthusiasts" and does not represent the entire German economy. Keep in mind that this country is a first world nation and a major player in the financial markets. Can't wait to see when industries figure out how bitcoin is an answer to many of their current challenges. At the same time, I am watching the ESG, POW and KYC related regulations coming out of Berlin and especially Brussels.
reading the lyrics of metal songs and am absolutely mindblown by how accurately they describe todays world. #poetry Basically your daily shit show is perfectly formed into words by a metal band.
My German Rail service app has introduced my personal CO2 savings score. And apparently me using the trains has saved 13 months of natural gas heating for a two person household. I rather like them to invest their resources into making the trains be on fucking time! Distraction. #deutschebahn #germany image
Last night was the first time I went to a #BitDevs meetup. The #ETFs were not even mentioned. Definitely wasn’t the smartest person in the room and those guys don’t get enough credit for being heros. They maintain #bitcoin and take care of the network. No matter what. Inspiring. Thank you.
One wonders. Are we in a similar epoch like the 1520’s, where Luther’s theses, his translation of the Bible into the language of the common man, caused a massive disruption in the existing world order, bloodbath and enlightenment?
Why are ppl coming up with this stuff? Flat coins gonna be the new thing in “crypto” to save fiat? image
No ransomware attacks on Bitcoin, no disrupted trading peer to peer.
Some days, after a long day at work, and I mean 14hrs+, I need rough music to calm me down. Usually metal. Tonight techno. I recommend Franck. He’ll calm you with that sweet bass.
