Hello Nostr. I've never been a poster on any social media app, but I feel compelled to actually engage with this community to hopefully have some kind of influence on the growth of the protocol, no matter how infinitesimally small it may be. The success of Nostr will be driven by individuals rather than corporations and that reality creates a sense of obligation in me to contribute in any way I can. There is a very clear fork in the road ahead that all of us who are using Nostr at this point can see, glaringly obvious to anyone who actually looks up to see the direction they're heading. Centralized control of everything from our social and traditional media to our money is destroying the hope and optimism of the world as a whole. Thankfully we have small glimmers of hope like Nostr and Bitcoin at this critical point in history, providing us opportunities to escape the darkness. Thank you to all those who have worked tirelessly to create and expand these lifelines. Just wanted to introduce myself and acknowledge that I recognize the importance of this protocol.
