Life can change so much in 9 months. (Not in any particular order) I got married, lost 75 pounds, at my day job I got a raise + monthly bonus + extra week of vacation a year, bought a house, and grew my small business. Hard work and determination paid off. The real hard part is coming the next 4 years I feel. Will I have a job in the next 6 months? Will I lose my house? Will my disabled Veteran husband lose his health benefits? Will I be able to afford to keep my small business going? Who knows. The political climate is not reassuring.

This is going to be such a long 4 years. Just saw Rosanne Barr’s new rap song. What the hell will be next?

I live in the path of totality and they weren’t kidding when they said to buy gas and groceries before the weekend. I forgot to get gas so ran to do it today and the normally empty gas stations all have lines. The city is taking things pretty seriously. We keep hearing “this is only a test” outside. No idea where it is coming from. I had to run to the post office a few miles away and heard it there as well. Wasn’t the radio though. They must have some outside system. But I’ve lived here 5 years and have never heard it, not even for a test. The district manager has to fly in Sunday for work business and couldn’t find a rental car or hotel room. Kerrille is hosting NASA for the event and the news was showing empty grocery shelves and naming off all of these countries of visitors that were already here by Wednesday to see the eclipse. We are being told to get to where you want to be by 10:00 even though the eclipse is after 1, because the traffic is going to be so terrible you won’t be able to get anywhere. Tis madness. But my job is located almost in the center of the path so we can all just walk outside and see it. If the clouds don’t cover it that is. We had a partial eclipse a few months ago and it was so cloudy you could only see it when they parted. #theeclipseiscoming

California giving fast food workers $20/hour while my degree required job cut my base pay to “give” me $4 “health and wellness.” They were paying the full premium for 2 years and now cut my pay to pay for my own insurance while they contribute $0 and get a tax cut out of all of it. Fucking pricks. #americasucks

I don’t know how I went my whole life without watching Aliens. It was 1000% better than the first one and now I’m hooked. The little xenomorph in the 3rd movie was cute though. We just saw there is a new one coming out this year so I’m going to have to watched the rest of them before then! #dontlookintheceiling

I recently discovered The Connor’s and I love it so much more than the original. Dan really shines without Roseanne leading the story. #theconnors

Just watched “No One Will Save You.” My partner gave it an A+ and he never gives such a good rating. The aliens just kept getting bigger. LOVED the one that walked like a big ass spider. Something about alien horror just gets right under the skin. #noonewillsaveyou

Hey! Was just introduced to this through Tik-Tok and figured I would give it a go. I love horror and spooky things. I watch a lot of movies/shows plus video games. Photo editor by day and small business owner by very early morning, lol. #introductions
