I think I gave up on Nostr. It need too much connections to too much servers to work normal, not good (I think good is impossible). Now #Wisp trying to send me in 2023. Fuck it.

Nostr is so bad omg sometimes I hate it I fucking reply to some npub and that reply is like my new note. I click on the note I tried to reply (there's a number 2 near reply button) and can't see any replies at all wtf did I answer them or not what is that 2 means I hate it is so baaaad

When trying to use email services like Yandex mail or Rambler you'll immediately get permanent ban for suspicious activity or spam (they know about PGP and Delta chat of course). The most popular Mail_ru gives you an external app password only if you pay for subscription, you can't use delta chat unless you paid them and even if you pay them you likely will be banned for "spam". So you can't just tell people to install delta chat and be connected - relay by default blocked, local email services doesn't want to see your encrypted messages... Nostr-based messaging is much worse than anything you can use in such conditions. The number of DM relays are less then fingers on one hand. Dms here are superbad, it is unusable from my view. I changed client (now I'm using Wisp) and my old dms are missed, and those somehow appeared doesn't looks good. Nostr uses too many connections, it depends on availability of relays and good internet channel. I often struggle to send some basic event to three of the most popular public relays. I don't think Nostr can be the solution somehow. It failed in many ways. I tried White noise by the way, 0xchat too, idk it always lags and you have to admit compromises or surrender on it.

Google explained how Android users will install apps from apks in the new "security" paradigm. From August user must confirm the wish to install apps from other than Play Store sources, then wait for 24 hours.

My mobile operator, noticing that I switched to a no-fee plan (to keep my number), offered me 100 minutes of calls, 20 SMS messages, and 1 gigabyte of data for 12 cents a month. Additionally, I can connect extra free services: another 10 gigabytes of data with no conditions and 5 gigabytes of data with unlimited messengers, taxi apps, and banking services for five days in case my account runs out of money. Plus, there's unlimited data for the Russian "equivalents" of YouTube - Rutube and VKVideo.

My VPN provider was successfully fully blocked by government, so now I'm using Tor Browser on laptop and it's working really well with webtunnel bridges - even YouTube working more or less good (if all videos suddenly become "unavailable", set the "new identity" and restart browser).
