It was such a beautiful morning at the stables. The light, the peace and quiet! And now I have a whole school-free and child-free morning ahead of me, with nothing to do but whatever I feel like. Life is beautiful 🤍 #dowhatyoulove

#GM Starting today, I’ll once again be greeted by our older horses in the stable each morning, as they’ll be spending their nights indoors throughout the winter 🤍

When I love someone, it’s usually in two different ways. I love them for who they are. That’s hard to describe. It’s the essence of them, the part that makes them irreplaceable. And I love them for what they awaken within me. Every person I’ve ever loved has helped me discover a different part of myself that I didn’t know existed before. My heart is so big, and I have so much love to give. Sharing it doesn’t make it smaller; it makes it grow. Today, I’m thinking of one of those loves in my life, who once wrote this poem for me. And it reminds me of the part of myself that he brought to life 🤍 #love

#GM from lunchbox-prep duty! I’ve already made hundreds of them, and many hundreds more are still ahead of me. With these less-than-beloved daily routines, I try to follow Osho’s philosophy: focus on the activity itself and find joy in doing it. It helps. And it also helps that there’s no longer a whining toddler clinging to my leg 🤍

Today, I missed an opportunity to do something kind. Unfortunately, I wasn’t quick-thinking enough in the moment. There were two siblings in front of me at the checkout, perhaps seven and four years old. Judging by their appearance, they seemed to live in a disadvantaged neighbourhood. They had put a few little things on the conveyor belt that they wanted to buy with their coins. And then there was this LOL surprise ball, the kind all little girls love. They didn’t have enough money, so the ball had to be put back. The little girl was so disappointed, and her big brother comforted her so tenderly that it really touched my heart. I could simply have bought that ball for her. But I didn’t. And I can’t stop thinking about it now 🤍 #kidstr

Many people say my son looks a lot like me, especially his facial features, and that his eyes sparkle just like mine. But our energy levels are very different. He’s extroverted, thrives when friends are around, is surrounded by children of all ages in the school playground, and loves team sports. But just like me, he also enjoys being creative, has an eye for aesthetics, and loves animals. And I love him 🤍 #love
