It’s getting scary here in the Philippines. There’s so much corruption, and now there’s so much killing. Back during Duterte’s time, the ones who died were mostly addicts and drug pushers. But now, it feels like the ones dying are ordinary, hardworking people. Just people trying to live. Like motorcycle drivers, like Move It riders. It’s crazy. It feels like the government isn’t strict with drugs anymore because so many slip through. And because of that, so many people are getting rich from drugs.We just want to live safely. We want to work hard, raise our 4 kids, and not be afraid. But right now it feels like the people who are supposed to protect us aren’t doing their job.We need leaders who are really tough on crime AND on corruption.
