Monero node on umbrel

My homie Jan who I posted about who was a young Bitcoin/XMR developer who was looking for a job, just forked Cake wallet's radar app (which is a signal fork which cake added lightning payments to) and he added xmr tips like a straight up gangster and not with that gay ass lightning shit that cake thought was cool.

I am now running my own personal nostr relay and blossom server via umbrel. I am still waiting for my monero node to sink so I can use @SirJamzAlot 's Monero Superbrain Suite. I started syncing the node yesterday and it's at 93.34%. It's also a full node, not pruned. Monero Superbrain is the entire reason I decided to throw umbrel on an old desktop I had laying around. This is going to my third monero node. Check out monero Superbrain if you have umbrel.

You need to add it to the AppStore as a community app. Can't wait to start playing with it once my node finishes syncing. I am also self hosting whoogle, search, nextcloud, forgejo, my nostr relay and blossom server, zerotier, and bitboard. Going to self host as much as I possibly can on this umbrel server, which is on a machine here at my house under my desk. It's dope. Every other time I have self hosted previously I have done it on a cloud VPS, so it's never been on my own hardware. This includes all our fork the system stuff like our site and restreamer etc. It's awesome to be repurposing a computer that was just here collecting dust and turn it into a data ownership privacy powerhouse.

I have been saying it for years now, conjoins (aside from ashigaru/samourai) just do not work. Oxt research proved you can demix join market because of the onchain maker/taker fees. Wasabi has always been a peelchain that gets people arrested, and had an address reuse bug for a long long time in both version one and wabisabi. BTC privacy is non-existent.
