Who is Man made by? By God. The elements. The existence of energy. The human. All made by God. He created artists who captivate hearts with music. He created painters who wow entire generations. He created engineers who build to improve humanity. It's clear: God created bitcoin through the genius of Satoshi. If you've yet to grasp the absolute beauty of what a creation bitcoin is, you've read too much incorrect information. Those who study bitcoin are often in awe. It's as incredible as the invention of the light bulb, the airplane, and penicillin. It's verifiably incorruptible money. Guarded by math, the power of network effects, and fair incentives. It's the literal creation suggested by Friedrich Hayek in 1984, when he said: "I don't believe we shall ever have a good money again before we take the thing out of the hands of government, that is, we can't take it violently out of the hands of government, all we can do is by some sly roundabout way introduce something that they can't stop." We've seen what happens when Man controls the money supply. We're yet to see what happens when Man is guided by fair incentives, and the ability to store time and energy into eternity. In a world where Man has been aware of gold for 5000 years, Man still created war and destruction. War and destruction isn't favorable when money is verifiably scarce. With verifiably scarce money, true diplomacy becomes obvious because attacking and defending means spending something extremely scarce. For what? More attacking and defending? When kinetic force is unfavorable, power will come from mutually beneficial relationships and exchanged resources. You would spend to thrive, not to steal, kill or destroy. Bitcoin forces cooperation. It forces you to create something valuable for others. It forces you to be the best version of 'You'. God wants humans to flourish, and ideal money is the best tool humanity has to create Heaven on Earth. That's how simple it can get.

I used to think Bitcoin was backed by math. Then Anton asked me a simple question: "ETH uses math. Solana uses math. Why didn't math stop Vitalik Buterin from rolling back the chain after the DAO hack?" Because math is just a tool. On one side, you have Bitcoiners obliviously talking about how Bitcoin will save the world. On the other side, you have Bitcoiners fighting tooth and nail for the thing to not become Ethereum. Fascinating to watch.

13 years ago today, on November 28, 2012 at around 5:24 PM CET, the first Bitcoin halving took place. 🟧 The block reward was reduced from 50 to 25 BTC. 🟧 Hard to imagine today: those 25 BTC were worth only about $300 at the time.

I’ve never kept a job long. Not because I’m lazy, because I can’t take orders. A strict father. Demanding teachers. By the time I had my first job, no boss could pay me into obedience. I’d rather be broke than controlled. And I was broke a lot. In 2015 I got my first job that paid really well. Finally had money to gamble. So I got into chasing crypto pumps. I had money and I wanted to get rich. But of course, I kept losing money, and I wanted to understand why. So I traveled to San Diego for a crypto event. There, I met a smelly old man. He introduced me to Bitcoin. He looked frantic and obsessed. I thought he was nuts. But he kept repeating a sentence that was music to my ears: “No central authority”. Those three words changed everything. I dove head first into the rabbit hole, hoping to find something interesting. I was never a good student, but Bitcoin had me reading, studying. And the more I read, the less I understood. But a few crucial pieces fell into place: Math doesn’t lie and physics don’t negotiate. And Bitcoin is guarded by both! For the first time in my life, I found something I can fully rely on! I spent almost two decades running from authority. I burned down every power relationship rather than submit. And Bitcoin doesn’t ask for submission. It just runs. Altcoins? Altcoins have authority figures. That's the difference.

Will Bitcoin have a date with destiny? According to Benjamin Cowen, history says it will. That means Bitcoin moves 30-40% lower until next October. Are you ready to stomach that drop? I am. #Bitcoin

Andreas Antonopoulos is why I’m here. His 2013 and 2014 talks didn’t just orange-pill me - they convinced me to spend my life working on Bitcoin. I read his books. I went deep because he went deep. Today, he supports spam on Bitcoin. I didn't know about his 2018 'Mastering Ethereum' book until today. Until today, he was still a hero. Andreas taught me that Bitcoin works because YOU can run a node and decide what goes in it. Now he’s backing something that is making this hard. The lesson he taught me, verify everything, truly means verify everything. Even him. The people who bring you into Bitcoin aren’t Bitcoin. The protocol is. And the protocol doesn’t care about your heroes. Maybe I won’t kill my hero today, but I’ll learn from him twice… When he’s right, and when he’s wrong.

When I remember that it took 25 years for credit cards to become mainstream, I relax my shoulders and appreciate the fact that we're early.
