Member put a note on a bill he submitted: "They adjusted the amount from like $2700 to $991. Oh hell yea! Can’t fool us with that overpriced garbage, am I right?!" Seizing the power in healthcare feels so good. 😆🤣

We have a ton of families who homeschool in the Crowd. Many, many Crowd employees that homeschool(ed). Given all the hubbub around homeschooling on this platform over the last couple of days, we thought we'd repost. image

SHARED WITH PERMISSION "I signed up for CrowdHealth about 4½ years ago, hoping it would live up to everything they promised. Instead, they completely exceeded my expectations. They truly under-promised and over-delivered. When I first joined, I knew having children was in my future, so their maternity support was one of the biggest reasons I signed up. Now, after welcoming three healthy babies with CrowdHealth as our only medical, I can honestly say it’s been one of the best decisions our family has made. After my member commitment they covered my midwife, doula, home birth supplies, water birth tub rental, postpartum care, lactation consultants, and so much more. Every step of the process has been surprisingly simple, transparent, and genuinely user-friendly—far easier than I ever expected healthcare could be. What has impressed me just as much is how personal they make everything feel. They’ve sent thoughtful gifts during each of my pregnancies, plus birthday gifts for me and my oldest child. Those little touches say so much about the kind of organization they are. CrowdHealth doesn’t feel like dealing with a giant, impersonal insurance company—it feels like being part of a community that actually cares. There’s even a members-only Telegram group where the CEO is actively involved. If you ever have a question or run into an issue, you’re not stuck calling an 800 number, navigating endless phone menus, and wondering who’s on the other end. You can connect with real people who genuinely want to help. This is what healthcare should look like: people helping people, not corporations profiting from families who simply need care. I couldn’t recommend CrowdHealth more highly, especially for anyone looking for a more personal, transparent, and human approach to healthcare." -OB image

Officially more than 50,000 bills have been funded by the Crowd to date. Of the 32 bills submitted to the community for funding that didn't receive full funding, the vast majority came from people who weren't willing to help others in the community. Therefore, the community declined to fund their bill including the largest of these 32 bills at $3,750. image

Two brain surgeries this month. Both successful. The family that got the surgery done this week on their young child, searched all over the country to find the best neurosurgeon to correct this super rare condition. Negotiated a price, funded by the Crowd, got it done within two weeks, and is now recovering.
