Bitcoin Unical is a youths- and students-led community at the University of Calabar (UNICAL) dedicated to advancing Bitcoin through education, research, empowerment, and hardware innovation.
Some Key Objectives:
🔷Promote Bitcoin Education: Educate students and youths on Bitcoin's fundamentals, tools, and real-world applications through events, meetups, and outreach, requiring no prior knowledge but emphasizing discipline and learning.
🔷Conduct Bitcoin Research: Explore Bitcoin's mechanics, innovations, and potential, including hardware and sustainable practices, to foster deeper understanding and development within the community.
🔷Build Circular Economies: Create sustainable Bitcoin-based economic systems on campus, encouraging transactions, stacking sats, and real usage to drive local adoption.
🔷Develop Sustainable Bitcoin Mining: Pioneer the first on-campus sustainable Bitcoin mining operations by harnessing local energy potential, aiming for efficient and eco-friendly block mining.
