Pushing the envelope has nothing to do with paper.
It comes from this chart.
The green zone is the flight envelope.
The safe limits of an aircraft. Test pilots literally pushed against it to see what the plane could take.
Tom Wolfe's The Right Stuff 1979 book popularise it.

Did you know the NSA published a Cryptocurrency Paper 12 Years Before Bitcoin?

Satoshi Nakamoto rurns 51!
5th April 1975 is considered Satoshi's birthday.
This is known because his profile on the p2pFoundation says so.
But no exact date is display so where does the 5th of April come from?
There is no snapshots from 4th to 5th April in same year available :(
But using these 4 snapshoots on the archiving sites, we can deduce with 100% certainty the DOB is 5th of April.
- 3 April 2014: 38
- 4 April 2014: 38
- 28 May 2014: 39
- 5 April 2015: 40
3 & 4 April 2014, he was 38
Hadn’t turned 39 yet - birthday after 4 April
28 May 2014, he was 39
Birthday is before May 28.
5 April 2015, he was 40
Birthday is on or before April 5, but after 4th, which means the 5 is DOB
Since he was 39 in 2014, he was born in 1975.
Worth noting the 1st person to point this out was gwern on reddit in 2014.

I am very new AI stuff, so may be missing something.
Is reinforcement learning not an amazing tool to find strange Bitcoin consenseus bugs and edge cases?
I mean is consenseus written in the code not a super verifiable problem?
If yes, its fairly trivial and quite low cost to implement something like this.
So we should do it ASAP, as an adversary could do this with ease and attack Bitcoin.
This is what buying Bitcoin looked like in 2011.
