Nostr is all love until things like this happen then the feet come out to start kicking. Custodial wallets/services (like Strike) could have just as easily been impacted by something like this. Trusting a bank with reserves is absolutely not a foolish thing to do and it's a larger failure of the overall system that's impacting real people trying to improve the crypto space.
