Does Nostr have any form of blocking capabilities yet? Not my natural inclination to block people but I am curious given someone’s recent behavior.

Test post because I’m not sure that something else I set up is still working …
I completely forgot that I bridged my account from bluesky to Nostr…
Though note that comments between these two platforms seem to not make it.(or last I checked.)

Why am I awake so early when I was up til 3am working??
test post to nostr from Openvibe because I don’t think I’ve tested this yet …
So are there any #smmtools (social media manager/marketing) available for crossposting to Nostr yet? #asknostr
I’m testing practically everything at the moment and have yet to see any that are for multi-account for Nostr.
Closest thing I’ve gotten is a rundown of tools for individuals (no account switching for a more business focus.)
Nootti and Openvibe have Nostr but things like Buffer and similar… I’ve yet to find one supporting Nostr (and I’ve been hitting my spreadsheet of publishing tools hard looking at options for everything.)

So if you want to follow me on BlueSky where I post more, you should be able to do that on Nostr now. I’m sending that account a message.
So the breakdown of getting #Nostr on #Bluesky via #Bridgy on #Mastodon:
1) Add the https://momostr.pink/ relay on Nostr
2) & then follow the "Bridgy Fed for Bluesky" account located on Mastodon (easiest link for me to just add but you should be able to search):
& you end get something like:
Takes a min for responses from Bluesky to show up on Nostr

Testing the nostr to mastodon to bluesky craziness
So can anyone explain the disparity of the number in the stats between apps on Nostr? Damus is showing 5 zaps and Primal is showing 20 zaps for example.
(I’ve also gotten very used to writing in alt text for images and don’t see a way to do it at least with Damus.)

Noticing some activitypub crossposting here that I don’t remember seeing last time I was here.
Then again I don’t think I checked for moss photos here either and that’s where I’m seeing it.
@Evan I was going to look through who you were following here but it’s 500+ people so I have a Q for you:
Who are the top 10-20 people I should follow who are a bit more normie here? Or even who you really think I would find interesting.
Any chance #Nostr might get mute words at some point?
I’m thinking that being able to temporarily mute the word Nostr might actually help me find non-nostr topic posts.
Bonus question: any new, good, trustworthy iPhone apps beyond Damus available for Nostr yet?

Testing 1 2 3
Last three posts using Damus didn’t work here so….
Since a lot of people are trying a lot of platforms this year, this may be one of them.
I posted this elsewhere yesterday but if you ever set up a Spoutible account, you need to change your password. If you connected to Mastodon or Bluesky, you should revoke tokens and passwords to this platform.
Pretty serious list of lost data:

Ever hear one of those stories where as it unravels, you lean in ever closer and mutter “No way! No way! NO WAY!” This one, as far as infosec s...
Well that’s interesting - I KNOW I posted a car photo here and had a conversation off of it awhile ago now and I don’t think it was a conversation I deleted but I’m not seeing it.
I will try looking for it other apps later to see if it’s just this one being weird on me at the moment.
Sooooo #Nostr outside the US question - is this US dominant at the moment?
Earlier I had my VPN pulling fastest location which for some reason was in England. This seemed to mean all 11 relays I normally have had me blocked.
Semi- related question: do any of the relays have status pages should there be something that takes them out? It took me a minute to realize it was my “location” cutting me off.
But what if some malware takes out large numbers of relays?
For anyone who is on Bluesky - this is the post and the related blog post where you can really see how it bridges:
And for anyone not on Bluesky, the blog post here is connected to Bluesky and I think Mastodon so the comments at the bottom are definitely partially from bluesky :
(In short: bridges can be a good thing… even if you don’t like Bluesky.) View quoted note →
