Met some Nostr contributors briefly at the MIT Bitcoin Expo. I guess sort of expected but everyone stood out as really kind people #mit
It makes me very happy to be a part of the nostr and bitcoin community, I’d be much less hopeful otherwise.
Assumption: Most bitcoin mining companies are run by clowns (see track record)
Hypothesis: Many will over leverage themselves pursuing the AI data center trend, selling their btc, borrow against btc, and borrow against their future cash flows.
It will appear to work for a short while then the leverage will wipe out and life will continue.
Twitter removed the “likes” feature I guess.
Probably like 90% of my usage and a truly unique opportunity to look at a curated feed for some of the smartest people in their fields.
There are a couple news sources that keep me on twitter, mostly financial. I would pay modest sum per month to bring to nostr as well (as repost/derivative of their twitter content)
What would it cost to build a service that reads these tweets and then posts them on nostr? Especially interested in the incremental cost of adding one additional account.

Is there any Nostr app that has recommended people to follow? I think many would benefit from adding that to the experience
Excited about the influx of new people to nostr, feed was getting too stale
My nostr feed has stagnated somewhat. One thing about twitter is it evolves faster over time and easier to self curate since it’s a larger network currently
