I'm seriously thinking about learning how to hunt. I'm trying really hard to embrace self sufficiency, and this feels like the next natural step. It's just an intimidating one. Especially as a former vegetarian. I have some buddies that are into it, the plan is to shadow them to get a feeling for it and learn what I can, and figure out next steps. Growth is hard, but also exciting. Always forward, never back.

I had a moment of weakness the other day, and it surprised me. The details aren't super important, but I basically wasn't having the best of weeks and backslid into my old default behavior at a company gathering because I was so out of my element. Nothing bad happened, except the lost opportunity to network and run shoulders with company leadership. But it was a great reminder that my weaker tendencies are always going to be there. That my assumption of being 'past that' was not true at all. No one gets to just grow past the urge to avoid discomfort, or to settle for what is comfortable. It was a nice dose of reality, and I will work harder next time. 🤙

Are there any privacy or security concerns for connecting Sparrow to Bitcoin Core as opposed to Electrum Server? Using Electrum Server now but my Raspi is dying. I recall reading somewhere that there is a reason not to use Core but now I cannot find it.

I have a question I'm not sure where to look for an answer. Bitcoin's target block time is 10 minutes, but what does it use as a reference point? What clock does it look at as the source of 'truth'?
