Found this in storage while helping some of my professors clean out the electronics storage room and was able to keep it. An old Hitachi cathode ray tube oscilloscope back from well before I was around. Still works great too! #engineering #electronics

The suspense has been killing me waiting for my Bitcoin node to finish downloading the Blockchain. I had been wanting to run a small pruned node for a while to further my #bitcoin journey. An old HP laptop, now revived as an Umbrel with Ubuntu Server, now houses this Bitcoin node so I can learn how to operate one on a small scale. Next up will be getting my feet wet with a Lightning node!

Morel season finally started today! Found a small handful of them in the woods today. Hoping that I can find more soon, I love cooking morels. #grownostr

Just got on Nostr last night for the first time to see what it's all about. Today's project was resurrecting an old laptop that was too old to use for everyday computing as an Umbrel server to run nodes for Bitcoin, Lightning, and a Nostr relay. Now I've got my own Nostr relay running that my client can access globally through Tailscale. #grownostr
