Just had some guests in my Airbnb, they gave us a 5 star review and said they had a great time and loved the house. They added a private note that some of the cutlery was dirty and a few other minor issues. I apologised and explained it’s difficult to check everything on a tight changeover. Now they’re asking for a partial refund… what?!

End grain chopping boards are a pain in the arse. I decided on my first attempt to make 4 at once with mixed species of wood - that was a pretty dumb idea! I had so many issues with gaps appearing as the wood moved and they’re not perfectly flat as they were when I planed them. They’re not too bad though, a wet paper towel should level them and hopefully the gaps don’t open up now they’ve been oiled. If I did it again I would only use 1 species and make sure it was super dry. #woodstr #woodworking

Had quite a few credits left on Copilot for the month so used Claude Opus for the first time on a project. Just attached the brief and screenshot of the design and it pretty much did the job for me, just needs polishing now. It’s crazy how dumb my solar system is, it was scheduled to charge the battery for 1hr overnight but because of daylight savings it had a brain fart and decided to go into “power saving mode”. You’d think DST would be a consideration for coders on these things…
