Decentralized music isn’t dead. It’s evolving. In my convo with @Matt Finlay he shares a perspective I think a lot of creators need to hear: “It’s stagnated, but there are great people working in the background to lower the hurdles so more artists can jump in.” We talk about the future of V4V, the challenges new artists face, and tools that aim to make decentralized publishing easier. This guest is an entrepreneur and has a basic understanding of Bitcoin, but he’s not familiar with Nostr. He wants to put his music on Spotify and all the other platforms for maximum distribution. I meant to tell him about #HomegrownHits. What else can I tell independent artists like him about decentralized music distribution?
