I just finished finalizing the computation of our remaining real property tax balance due on July 5. I also updated everyone in our siblings' group chat. The total amount due is ₱75,482.07. Since there are eight of us sharing the payment, each sibling's share comes to ₱9,435.25. Everyone has already paid ₱6,000, so the remaining balance for each sibling is only ₱3,435.25. Just a little more patience and sacrifice, and we'll finally complete this first major property tax payment. The next payment will be in December, but it should be much lower since this one includes 10 years of tax arrears covered under the amnesty program. Good afternoon, everyone. Hello guys. I’m finally back home. I’m tired and hungry because I skipped having a snack while I was out. 😅 It turns out I was short by ₱4,500 for the payment. So instead of paying the full amount I brought, which was ₱21,000, I just asked them to compute how many years that amount could cover. In the end, only about ₱16,000 was applied, so I still have some change left. I’ll just add it to our next payment. They also informed me that there are already penalties for the years 2024 to 2026. Good morning, guys. I need to get ready now so I can head to the City Treasurer's Office and make another partial payment for our property tax. However, while counting the money contributed by my siblings, I realized I'm a bit short on cash. I almost forgot that I also need to pay the electricity bill afterward. One of my siblings still owes me ₱500, which makes things a little more challenging. I can't bring myself to sell any of my #BCH to cover the difference because I'd be selling at a loss. I think I bought most of my BCH when it was around $300 to $400. So what now? Ahaha. Oh well, I'll figure something out. Good afternoon guys. My niece, who spent a month vacationing here in the Philippines with her young son, will soon be returning abroad. She invited me to their place for a despedida party, which will also serve as their Father's Day celebration. I really wanted to go, but I would end up driving home late at night. Their town is quite far from where I live, and I find it difficult to drive at night because my eyesight is no longer as good as it used to be. My eyeglasses no longer match my current prescription, and I think my vision has gotten worse. Because of that, I decided not to attend. I explained my reason to them, and thankfully, they understood.
