Just published my latest article on Nostr: The Sovereign Stack. 🛠️ I'm continuing to document my personal and professional journey into Bitcoin, this time breaking down the "How" of my current setup—navigating the gap between self-custody and legacy EU fiat using Bitkit, Speed, and @Bringin | The Complete ₿itcoin App. I also explore why eCash is the secret to scaling the next billion users and call on our builders to finally give us the "Revolut of Bitcoin." Full article here: P.S. If you've already moved to the eCash layer on Yakihonne, test the plumbing and send a Nutzap my way! ⚡🥜 #Bitcoin #Nostr #Fintech #Sovereignty #Cashu #eCash #BuildOnBitcoin #Compliance

GM ⚡️ 6:00 AM and back under the iron. Chest and triceps today—building the discipline required for the grind. 🏋️‍♂️ Riding a high from yesterday’s win: officially signed a new major fintech client. Looking forward to navigating the complex maze of EU laws and regulations to get them to market. 🇪🇺⚖️ Starting the day with heavy sets and big goals. Let's get it. #GM #Fintech #Compliance #ProofOfWork #Fitness #Nostr
Checking out the merchant experience with various Lightning wallets and comparing them to traditional PSPs like Stripe. 💳⚡️ The common narrative is that Lightning is "nearly free" compared to the 2.9% + €0.25 standard in fiat. While generally true, the merchant reality is more nuanced. I just crunched the numbers on a €10.00 payment: 🔹 Stripe (EEA Card): You pay ~€0.40. You keep €9.60. 🔹 Bitkit (New Channel): Initial setup (LSP + on-chain fees) can be ~$1.05. You keep ~$8.95. Wait—Bitcoin is more expensive? For the first transaction, yes. This is the "Self-Custody Tax." To be non-custodial and sovereign (like with @Bitkit), you pay a one-time fee to open a channel. Most merchants want the speed and low fees of Lightning but aren't ready to manage their own liquidity. The tipping point: * On a €100 payment, Stripe takes €3.20. * On a €100 payment, Lightning (once open) takes <€0.01. We need to be honest about the onboarding "friction" if we want real adoption. If you’re a high-volume merchant, the initial $1 investment in a channel pays for itself in just 2-3 sales. After that, it's 99% cheaper than card networks. Not every wallet is built for the same merchant. Some prioritize pure sovereignty (Bitkit, Phoenix), others prioritize instant "it just works" convenience (custodial). The goal for 2026? Making that first channel-open as invisible as a card swipe. #Bitcoin #LightningNetwork #MerchantAdoption #Payments #Nostr #Fintech
Rise and grind! 🏋️‍♂️ Just kicked off week 5 of the "getting back in shape" journey this morning. Hitting the gym at Basic-Fit—seems I can't escape the color orange lately! 🟠 Healthy body, healthy mind. Let’s keep stacking those gains.

Mass adoption doesn't happen when people learn about Bitcoin; it happens when the technology disappears into the background. The future belongs to a modular stack where Lightning provides the global rails, Stablecoins via Taproot Assets provide merchant stability, and Fedimints provide free, private community scaling. By integrating eCash directly into social protocols like Nostr, we turn every local trade into a global zap. We don't need one giant app to win; we need a million local circular economies connected by the speed of light. 🌍⚡️ #Bitcoin #Lightning #Nostr #FutureOfPayments
