I'm home from my first ever tour in the Pacific Northwest. Oregon, you're incredible. The people, the places, the thrifting—I shall be back someday. I launched a Crowdfunding campaign for a new record today. I'm making my second full-length EP in May! 😬😬😬 I've been at this whole music thing for a lllllong time now, and I've learned so much and had so many wonderful experiences I wouldn't have had if I made different life choices. If I hadn't chosen a life where I'm constantly on the edge of my comfort zone, where everything feels a little (or a lot) risky, where I found MY PEOPLE. This record is the next step, and it's a big one. I can't do it by myself- as much as my stubborn self would like to - will you join me in making this record a reality?

New Mexico - land of enchantment 🏜️ the place where "Dust to Settle" came into being. The first single off this new EP hits the streaming thingies in one week. In trying to come up with this post, I got to go through touring photos and reminisce on the long drives and wild landscapes. New Mexico is weird and beautiful and mysterious all at once. At shows, I often tell the story that this song was inspired by a billboard along I-10 in New Mexico that reads "WAIT until the dust settles". I took advantage of the long drive ahead of me and this prompt from the universe to write a song about patience. About taking a moment to regroup before running headlong into the storm. Sometimes I feel like if I just keep charging ahead, all the baggage, stress, problems, will get left behind. But of course we've all seen enough rom-coms and Hallmark movies to know that doesn't work very well. This song is about slowing down, accepting your circumstances, and moving forward when you're ready. Coming to Wavlake Jan 15th. @Wavlake #music #newmusic #value4value

2024 was a good one. I got to play some of the best shows of my career. I opened for some of my heroes, played festivals, shared my song babies with amazing audiences, traveled the country, made people cry. I got to share the stage with my incredible band who brought my little songs to LIFE. I released new music, I wrote new songs. I grew a community around live music in my hometown. And I went on adventures. Sooo many adventures. There were lows, some setbacks, plenty of things I stressed over - real and imagined. But all in all I'm grateful for another year I get to do this. Being an independent singer songwriter is very very hard, but I also realize what a privilege it is. I have great people (and dogs) in my corner helping me. I have the best, silliest, most supportive novio ♥️ I could ask for. I have a kick-ass community, friends, and family behind me. Thanks for the memories 2024 🥂 #nostrpeeps #v4v #music #happynewyear
