# [BFComms] Obliteration XP update
To bring Obliteration closer to other modes in Battlefield 6, we have added passive Hardware Mastery XP to Obliteration. Additionally, we have increased the Match Bonus XP for the mode, too. These changes will also be applied to Tactical Obliteration.

# [BFComms] Game Crash when launching on AMD systems
We are investigating reports from players with AMD graphics card systems who crash when starting Battlefield 6. This does not seem to affect all players, and we are currently working to reproduce the issue internally to determine the next steps.
Some players have stated that Adrenalin 26.5.2 does not cause this issue. You can try performing a clean driver install, as outlined in our support article here: https://help.ea.com/en/articles/technical-issues/pc-graphics-troubleshooting/

# [BFComms] Strikepoint Update
Earlier this month, we disabled Strikepoint while the team investigated several concerns affecting the stability and balance of the mode.
While we have made progress, the investigation to resolve all underlying issues is still ongoing, and we currently don't have a set timeline for Strikepoint to return.
We know some of you can't wait to jump back into the mode, and we’ll share another update once we have a clearer timeline for its return.
Thank you for your patience while the team continues work on this.

# [BFComms] An Update on the Lighting Bug in REDSEC
We want to share a quick update on the lighting issues some players have been experiencing in REDSEC.
When these reports first started coming in, the most visible examples were tied to specific areas of the map. As the team continued to investigate, it became clear that this is not one single lighting issue with one single cause. What players are seeing in REDSEC is part of a broader collection of lighting-related issues that can appear in similar ways, but are caused by different things behind the scenes.
That complexity is why this has taken longer to resolve than we would like. A visual issue may look the same in-game, but each underlying cause needs to be reproduced, investigated, fixed, and verified separately. Because these issues can be triggered in different ways, a single broad fix or temporary workaround is not enough to reliably address everything players are seeing.
With our next update, we’re planning to deploy an additional fix targeted at lighting issues around Fort Lyndon, specifically near the Downtown area. While this may not address every lighting-related issue players are seeing, we expect it to improve the experience in that area and will continue monitoring your reports after the update goes live.
Thank you for continuing to flag these issues to us. We know this has been frustrating, and we appreciate your patience while the team works through the different causes behind these visual issues.

# Battlefield 1.3.2.0 Blastpoint Update
We wanted to provide a quick update before the weekend regarding the issues we’ve seen reported this week. As we are still working on several of these problems, we don't have an exact rollout date just yet, but we will provide updates next week when possible.
**Deployment Screen Jumping Issue for PC**
The root cause has been found for the issue that causes the screen to jump around when trying to deploy. We understand the frustration this causes and are looking into how/when a fix can be deployed while trying to avoid introducing any new issues. In the meantime, players on PC have recommended using the keyboard to select a deployment target as a workaround.
**Lighting Bug in REDSEC**
As we previously mentioned, the intended resolution for this, which rolled out with the Blastpoint update on Tuesday, unfortunately did not work. We are continuing to investigate this to get it properly fixed and will update you when we have more details.
**Black Screen/Game Hanging on Battlefield 6 Logo**
We’re aware of reports from some players that the game may hang on the BF6 logo screen or a black screen after leaving a match or installing/uninstalling game content from the in-game menu. While the result is similar, they seem to have different causes so we are continuing to investigate and understand possible resolutions. For now, if content like the campaign needs to be installed or uninstalled, we recommend doing it through the game service like EA app and not the front-end menu.
**Missing Bonus Path/Explosive Charge Points**
We deployed a fix on Wednesday which allowed players to complete this Bonus Path and unlock all of the items. Since then, we have seen reports from players on missing a few points to complete the Bonus Path. These have been more scattered than the initial issue and appears to be related to the use of re-rolls. We are looking into a fix for this, but it will primarily affect future rollouts. On Tuesday, the next week of Explosive Charge challenges will be available and there should be 50 more points to earn which will make this completable for affected players.
Thank you all for your continued feedback, patience, and support. We’ll talk more soon, and we hope you have a great weekend on the Battlefield! 🧡

# [BFComms] Strikepoint disabled
We have received reports that Strikepoint is currently encountering several issues, causing the mode to be unstable. While we're investigating what is causing this, we have decided to turn the mode off, as player feedback is indicating that the mode balance is negatively impacting their game experience.
We will bring Strikepoint back as soon as we have a resolution.
We apologize for the inconvenience and will provide an update as soon as possible.
@Game News
# [BFComms] Q-Ping Spotting Issue Resolved
The issue causing Q-Ping spotting indicators to remain visible through world geometry has now been resolved.
The team will continue monitoring the situation throughout the day to ensure the resolution remains effective.
Thank you for your patience while we worked to resolve this issue.
# [BFComms] XP Booster Timing
We’re aware of an incorrect in-game text description for XP Boosters that was introduced with the latest update.
XP Boosters count down in real time, as they have since launch.
We’re working to correct the in-game text in a future update and apologize for the confusion.
# [BFComms] Bonus Challenge Update
We have deployed a resolution to the Bonus Challenge situation that occurred yesterday.
- Players will have a new Bonus Challenge immediately unlocked in-game, which will grant the correct amount of Battle Pass and Bonus Path Points upon completion.
- This will now allow players to unlock the PP-19 in week one, as intended.
We appreciate your patience.
@Game News
# [BFComms] Battlefield 6 - 1.3.2.0 Update
We’re continuing to track player reports and feedback following today’s update, and wanted to share a quick status update on several topics currently being discussed.
**Aerial Space Updates**
With today’s update, we’ve expanded the airspace boundary on New Sobek City, Manhattan Bridge, and Eastwood by approximately 20% to give pilots more room to maneuver, engage, and chase down targets.
The airspace boundary on Blackwell Fields has been expanded by approximately 25% to further improve jet maneuverability and combat.
We appreciate you sharing your thoughts on these maps. As mentioned in our 2026 roadmap, we have more changes coming to New Sobek City and Blackwell Fields later this year, and we’ll continue to take in your feedback as we evaluate further map adjustments.
**PP-19 Bonus Path Progression**
We’re aware that completing all currently available Challenges does not complete the Explosive Charge Bonus Path or unlock the PP-19 SMG.
This is actively being investigated, and we’ll share more when we have an update. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this.
**Battle Royale Lighting**
With today’s update, we implemented an initial change intended to help alleviate some of the lighting issues players are encountering in certain Battle Royale areas, including the Lighthouse.
Unfortunately, this first rollout does not appear to have resolved the underlying issue, as we’re still seeing reports of this occurring in the live game.
We’re continuing to investigate what’s causing this and will provide an update as we get closer to a resolution.
**Game Hanging on BF6 Logo**
We’re aware of reports from some players that the game may hang on the BF6 logo screen after leaving a match.
The team is investigating this issue, and we’ll share more when we have an update.
Separately, we’re also aware of an issue that may occur when installing content from the front-end menu. For now, we recommend avoiding installing from the in-game front-end menu while we continue looking into this.
Thank you for your reports and patience while we continue looking into these topics.
@Game News
# [BFComms] Deployment and Custom Search
We're aware of a situation affecting deployments and are actively investigating.
We've also identified a situation impacting players using Custom Search when in a squad searching for Cairo Bazaar Breakthrough. A resolution is currently being deployed and is expected to resolve this.
Thanks for your reports and patience while we work through these issues. We'll provide further updates as they're available.
