As someone that’s a child of migrant parents that moved thousands of miles for a better life from the one they had in farmland Mexico one thing I discovered as I grew up in the US and went to school for finance is that their life wasn’t really bad, they had better food, family, and community. Their issues was the monetary system they had to deal with in an unstable, single party political system which they had to transact on. Bitcoin is our global migration from a system that usurps our capital (social, physical, et al) for the gain of a few people.

One of the things I miss about the pre-Trump alignment of bitcoiners is that they were actually against big government. Now we have a huge cohort of bootlickers that don’t understand the ethos of what bitcoin is really about.

Hello everyone! I’m new to this space. I’m an Ethereum user (I know, I’m in the lions den) and I’m here to challenge my own thoughts about crypto and money. Crypto Twitter isn’t the best place to deep dive into Bitcoin and what’s happening in the Bitcoin ecosystem since it’s only about “number go up” over there and also there’s only so many Bitcoin podcasts I can listen to throughout the day 😅 Hope to learn from y’all about the best wallets, storing BTC, and the economics of it all.
