Stumbled into a completely new paradigm that supposedly increases yields. Looks rather simple as well. Can’t wait to test it out

I long for the grow box
Traveling tomorrow. It’s gonna be tough to be away from my project
Ran the tent for the better part of the day and noticed humidity gets sky high even with plants. Humid control will be a bigger battle than I thought
Feeding system is last big hurdle before we can begin the fun part. Software automation systems
PH is now calibrated but noticed voltage drops when using other systems causing bad readings. Will need a new power supply
Fired up the grow tent for the first time. After a few hiccups everything ran perfectly. All systems go
Didn’t get to turn it on today but got some final clips and adapters made. Might even be able to get the feeding system up and running too!

After a long couple months I am going to finally be able to kick on the first working prototype of my fully automated hydroponics system

Really want one of those giant workbenches but man are they expensive
It’s about time to assemble everything for the working prototype. I may launch without auto feeding for now
An exhaust fan mount failed so had to tweak the design. In the meantime I’m making my own Ethernet cables
Fabricating mounts for the temperature sensor and the exhaust fan. Grabbed a new type of filament that works so much better with bending/clips
Needed a smoke extractor when soldering but they’re like $50. So instead I made one out of a computer fan and carbon filter for like $5 lol

Talked with an industrial engineer today who gave my so much help I am forever grateful. It’s good to say I don’t understand anything
Real tough break tonight. Ethernet connector borks the signals from the TDS and water level sensors. Water temp works for some reason though (weird). Will have to figure out if it’s the Ethernet board tomorrow

Today we learn how to solder
V3 of the water control box was a success. Will wire it up tomorrow and we should be good on that front
Learned my lesson from the last two prints. Better to make quick text components to see.
Here we’re testing if the mounting holes will be properly spaced for the PCBs
