Then my mother-in-law washed my cast-iron skillet with soap, and my father-in-law scratched a handmade plate by grating cheese on it with a metal grater.
They are staying another five days…

I’ve been watching quite a few of Les Blank’s music documentaries lately. Just watched a fantastic one on Mance Lipscomb: ‘A Well-Spent Life’ (1971).
Would highly recommend them if you’re interested in music, especially the blues, or documentaries.
My amazing daughter is two weeks old today!
Which means it’s been exactly two weeks since I had any sleep.
