Went to sleep at 9.30ish Friday night, got out of bed at 9.30ish Saturday morning - 12 hours! That’s my body telling me I’m tired. And that I need to make some changes. Deep down I’m still an introvert: social engagements drain my energy. Doing events and workshops is one thing. Attending many more is another. Trying to respond to every DM, email, comment, request for calls, exploratory meet-ups… …on top of the increased sales pitches, charity/shout-out/introduction requests, and just bizarre messages across multiple platforms is the real killer. The opportunities that have presented themselves have been wild. But being dragged from one thing to another is actually counter-productive; and a mistake I tell others to avoid - so I’m being a bit of a hypocrite too. However, I don’t ever want to hear anyone in the UK say there are no opportunities out there - it just isn’t true. The hard part is picking the right one for you, and going after it. The uncomfortable part, which I’m seeing many are avoiding, is putting yourself out there consistently enough to attract these opportunities. It’s time consuming. And it’s draining. And if you’re not used to it, it takes you far out of your comfort zone. Anyhow, the effort is worth it. And the next night that will present many more opportunities is coming. Register to attend: 📆 30 January 2026 ⏰ 18:00 🏫 Batley Town Hall image

💥 Official speaker announcement: From local roots to global operations... ...Batley Entrepreneurship Club welcomes Yousif Aslam. Co-Founder and Managing Director of Heavenly Desserts. The title of this talk is: Local Foundations. Global Operations. Heavenly’s Zero-to-Sixty Trajectory. Yousif's story will resonate with a lot of people. His father, like mine, was a taxi driver: a generation that legit struggled with hard graft to give the following gen. a platform to excel. I think it's safe to say Yousif did take that platform, continued the graft, to excel: Heavenly Desserts opened in 2008 from local roots & humble beginnings in the Midlands - when we had a financial crisis. For 2 years, in his own words, it was "dead" - but eventually the brand, reputation and culture began to grow. They now have a whoppin' 60+ locations across the UK (including BATLEY); and 4 internationally with more due to open soon, including Canada, Germany, Pakistan & India. Aside from Heavenly Desserts, Yousif sat alongside Lord Sugar as a guest panellist on the BBC's Apprentice Final. Yousif represents a masterclass in patience, discipline and getting the foundations right before scaling... ...making this talk invaluable for people across the spectrum on their business journeys. You just want to be there: 📆 Friday 30 January 2026 ⏰ 18:00 🏫 Batley Town Hall Tickets are limited, secure yours here: Shout out to the supporters and sponsors for this event: - West Yorkshire Combined Authority - Chaiiwala Batley - Moduliv Limited This is Batlehh, where things happen! #WhereOpportunityLives image

💥 Official speaker announcement: Comin' all the way from Bahrain to Batley... ...give it up for Azam Jaafri! (Okay that sounded better in my head 😂) The title of this talk is: "Yorkshire Graft. Bahrain Exit. Pathways to a Beautiful Tomorrow." I actually spent a lot of time thinking about that title, with numerous iterations. Azam's story is one that has so much packed inside, it was difficult trying to put it in a few words. But it started in the Yorkshire ends where he built a stones and pathways business, before successfully exiting. He made a move to Bahrain for the nomadic lifestyle, before getting back in the trenches. He now has a venture builder brand called Tomorrow Is Beautiful, investing in and building multiple brands. Foodery is one of the other brands currently being built; and he's also the founder behind sports brand GRAFTISM. Nutritious, healthy food, stones and graft - no surprise he's therefore built like a tank too, mashallah And that's just a snapshot. In short, if he is coming to speak, you just want to be there to listen, as he brings a wealth of lived experience, knowledge, insight & inspiration. Do not miss out: 🎤 Batley Entrepreneurship Club: Building Global Ventures 📆 Friday 30 January 2026 ⏰ 18:00 🏫 Batley Town Hall Tickets are limited, be sure to get yours like many smart people have already done: Shout out to the supporters and sponsors for this event: - West Yorkshire Combined Authority - Chaiiwala Batley - Moduliv Limited This is Batlehh, where things happen! #WhereOpportunityLives image

I’ve had people posting a few times a week for 1 month tell me they’re not seeing results. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. For some reason, too many are just not apprehending how much volume you actually have to have. Not everyone can be like Hormozi and post 350 times a week. But you can setup systems and processes to start off posting a few times a week, to everyday, to 3-5 times a day. Then when you’re in a position to hire a team, you can ramp it up further. But doing it for 1 month isn’t going to get you anywhere. You have to do it for years. But people don’t want to hear that. Stop looking at content like a transaction. Ie “if I post, I will get a sale.” - you won’t. Start looking at content like seeds, you just have to keep planting. Eventually, some will bloom in the future. You just don’t know when. But if you don’t plant today, how can you expect to bear fruit later?! image

Sports is just as important as school for children imo. Whilst there are some good initiatives out there, we need more that integrate with the schooling and/or madrassa system. It’s one of the reasons why I spend a lot of time encouraging my children towards sports. They’ve experienced Arsenal play football at the Emirates. They’ve experienced Pakistan Legends play cricket at Edgbaston. Now they’ll experience watching Callum Simpson in the boxing ring: 📆 Saturday 20 December ⏰ 5pm 🏟️ Leeds First Direct Arena However, the purpose of these experiences is to encourage them to get involved in sports themselves. Which is why exposing them to positive role models is crucial. Anyhow, some tickets still remain for the boxing fight. 🎟️ link: https://www.axs.com/uk/events/1211999/boxxer-presents-fight-night-simpson-vs-williamson-tickets?skin=leeds

Met the Barnsley-Bull Batley-Badman himself today 😁 Callum Simpson is a true gentleman. Great character, down to earth, a proper model professional. I picked up the tickets for me and my kids; we’re looking forward to his title defence fight. With just 9 days to go, he did not have to accommodate this meeting to personally hand over the tickets… …just a testament to the type of person he is. Good energy radiating off him, he is looking ready to defend his title! Wouldn’t be me if I didn’t incept the idea of having him on a Batley stage in the future, but before that, the big fight is coming: 📆 Saturday 20 December ⏰ 5pm 🏟️ Leeds First Direct Arena Very few tickets still remain, so get yourself down there. The Barnsley crowd will be out in numbers; the Batley crowd needs to be out as well considerin’ Callum trains, and therefore is reppin’ Dickies Gym in Batley. 🎟️ link below: https://www.tixr.com/groups/boxxer/events/boxxer-presents-fight-night-simpson-vs-williamson-167614 image

If you really want to do something, you’ll get it done. Bad back pain would’ve kept me out of the gym today. But I really wanted to get in the 4th session. That was the energy that got me through 100 days in the gym a few years ago. It’s the same energy you need when building your project, side hustle or business. There will always be obstacles. But those are really tests: do you really want it?! Too many build something “hoping” it might work or just seeing how it goes. Issue with that is, when the first obstacle comes, it leads to giving up. Instead, you need to commit and be relentless in the pursuit of your objective. Whether that’s business, fitness, personal or anything else.

Business idea: Book a chauffeur driven vehicle for long drives BUT, fill the vehicle with people discussing bizzness. Kinda like networking on the road. Few weeks ago I made videos about the horrible traffic in and out of Manchester - I find driving such a waste of time. Yeah you can do calls whilst driving, but it’s not the same as being in a luxury vehicle physically with others whom you then connect with on a deeper level, discuss various things, and still have the time to do other bits on your phone/laptop. One of you needs to run with this idea: “we don’t just get you chauffeur driven, we get you chauffeur driven with strategic passengers.” Anyhow, that’s not what this trip was about. This was about Nasar Hussain and Waj Arif’s great work with Islamic Relief. I was lucky enough to be invited along to something that turned into a great experience all around on multiple fronts. Couldn’t therefore not do a video for Luxe Executive Travel, Waj’s very own Chauffeur Driven business. Maybe he’ll run with the networking on the road idea. 😁

I’m going to be sharing the stage with two absolute tanks in January iA… …my current average of gym 3x a week might not be enough to stop me looking like a dweeb in comparison 😂 Jokes aside, it’s been a struggle trying to maintain a gym routine whilst parenting 3 kids and building an unusual project which has so many moving parts to it. Only now about 3 months later am I starting to feel good. They say starting is the hardest part, which just isn’t true. Starting is easy. Carrying on when you’re not seeing or feeling the results is the hard part. This especially applies to building a project, business or side hustle. So many get excited at the start, jump in, then stall when realising how hard and slow it is - espesh when you can’t tangibly see the progress being made That’s just the price of admission - so keep going. For now, keep an eye out for the official announcements about the 30 January Batley Entrepreneurship Club event… …and get to the gym.

Tickets booked for me and my boys for our first ever live boxing match. We excited to watch local hero Callum Simpson defend his titles. Won’t be long before he’s knocking out a world title fight. Tickets are still available I believe so get in touch with him, or me, or book from the Boxxer website. Leeds will be rockin’ on December 20th.

Highlights of the London trip this weekend. I wanted to do a road trip travel-vlog style documentary - but the lads were having nothing of it 😂 Managed to sneak in these tid bits here and there. It was packed with so much more, naturally all the best parts were off camera. Just an overnight stay, but felt much longer considering all we got through. London might as well be another country compared to the Norff. But it’s got a vibe of its own. They tell us it’s dangerous. We were walking around at 1am no issues. Even saw a hijabi lady walking out by herself that late! Not to say there aren’t issues, but like I have been saying for a while - the UK is a great place and not as bad as being made out. When you connect with the right people, you feel the difference. Spending time with these gents was great, but so was meeting all the new people as well - so many positives and so many opportunities in the UK. Make an effort to genuinely be positive, you’ll be surprised how positive things begin to surround you. Credit to: Nasar Hussain for the invitation, which doesn’t even happen without the amazing work that was done behind the scenes for the last decade culminating in the charitable project in Balochistan. Sadaat Khan for providing exemplary company, and who has a phenomenal project of his own. Wajid Arif and his company Luxe Executive Travel for an unforgettable experience of cruising around London city in a Rolls Royce Ghost. Two young guns and future stars Aydin Hussain & Zain Yaqub who soldiered through with youthful energy. And of course Islamic Relief UK for putting together an amazing event. To end with some words of wisdom from Dr Hany, especially if you’re feeling despondent and dead: “A man who loves life will live forever. A woman who loves life will live forever. Never lose hope and never stop loving.” (can’t do justice because Dr Hany’s delivery was impeccable - but you get the gist)

Man smashed it out on a stage in Batley, next thing you know he’s smashing it out centre stage in London! One post will not do justice to this weekend gone in London. However, Nasar Hussain brought the Bradford charm to the Capital City and inspired the crowd. The event as a whole was amazing, huge credit to Zia Salik and the Islamic Relief UK team once again. There were so many golden moments from so many people. Including some incredibly emotional and distressing ones; collectively we have so much more to do. But to hear Dr Hany speak for the first time was the icing on the cake. How he captivated the crowd with such simplicity yet power was something to behold. Road trips like this solidify brotherhoods, and it certainly felt that way spending time with Nasar, Saadat, Wajid, Aydan and Zain - as well as making many new connections down south. More posts to come, and an attempted travel-vlog, about the different aspects of this trip.

I might be in the minority, but I love livin’ in the UK. Sure there are lots of challenges and rising issues. But there are still so many good things to be grateful for. Yesterday I took a detour that ended up becoming a majestic experience, appreciating the beauty created by God. It was a winding road, out of something like Gran Turismo, with sublime views of valleys, hills, mountains covered in ice/snow…as well as a reservoir/lake in between. All whilst the sun was blazing. The sky was blue. And those fluffy white clouds painted the sky. People might bemoan the business landscape; but again there are just so many opportunities out there right now at different levels. It’s just a matter of stacking skills, getting yourself out there, and seeing the positives. Strange things happen when you do that…you start experiencing more positive things. S’pose the same is true for the opposite, negativity begets more negativiteh. So what will you choose?!

Everyone talks about their passion and mission when it comes to building their brands and projects. But tbh it does often feel forced and fake. Not with Saadat Khan though. Moduliv and the modular homes project he’s spearheading means so much more to him. You can feel it’s in his soul to build this, and iA this is the reason why it will be even more successful than where it’s at today. Especially when you hear the background story… …which will be for another exclusive night for the Batley Entrepreneurship Club towards the middle of next year iA. By that time, we will hopefully have further excited updates about the Moduliv project too.

Spent the day in Preston yesterday with my bro Saadat Khan unveiling this incredibly impressive modular home. The quality, design and build is just fantastic. This is a serious solution to the housing problem in the UK and beyond - and so you’ll be hearing a lot about Moduliv Homes iA. No planning permission required to install these; and you can stack 3 more blocks on top of this one. The speed in which these can be put together, compared to traditional construction, is extraordinary. The list of benefits can go on. But that’s for another time. This is something you just want to be involved in if you’re a property developer, investor or looking to buy a home. For more details, get in touch or comment/dm BEC-Mod
