Two days later, I’m still drained!

Got Azam Jaafri to also share some thoughts after the event.
The intention was to get some words about the event itself, but I got a motivational and massive confident-boosting pep talk on a personal level instead. 😁
(More on what that meant in future content).
When someone comes all the way from Bahrain, the first thing you feel is incredible gratitude, honour and blessings…
…but then you’re hit with pressure and responsibility to deliver.
This was made infinitely easier due to Azam’s down to earth approachable warmth and the respect he gives.
Respect which was reciprocated by the audience.
“These were genuine, global standard key-note speakers you got” - just one comment of many I received.
Azam confirmed he’s also going to push out more content again soon, which is great news as it will be highly beneficial for the community. 💪🏽
Caught up with Yousif Aslam after the event on Friday to get some final thoughts.
Even in this short clip you can see the calm eloquence coming through; which was magical on the stage earlier.
Legit happy to know we will be seeing more of Yousif in the coming months and years iA - exactly the type of role model the next gen. especially need to learn from.
If you get a chance to listen to him speak, take it!
He will be speaking again at the BPC event in Birmingham on Wednesday - get yourself down there.
I may re-arrange somethings to make it; get to soak it in without the pressure of hosting this time 😁
OVERWHELMED! Only word to describe the love, support, feedback, energy, enthusiasm received from yesterday's event.
So grateful and blessed with how it turned out.
There are just markers which help determine whether an event is successful or not:
The live feedback and comments you get
The electricity and buzz in the room
The audience focus on the speakers
The quality of the Qs being asked by the audience
And people not leaving the building!
People started arriving at 5.30pm - typically by 9.30pm there's a drop off in numbers, as people want to get home.
This time we had a packed crowd all the way until 10pm - where we literally had to throw people out of Batley Town Hall 😂
Need to tally up, but early indications suggest approx. 115+ turned up on the night - from far and wide.
I cannot thank these two gentlemen enough: Azam Jaafri & Yousif Aslam.
The chemistry and bond they have with each other is phenomenal, and collectively what they were able to deliver last night was impeccable.
Real lived experience, mixed with depth, intellect and eloquence; even when they were handed some excellent questions from the audience. I've told them both, they need to go around a do a tour for you all to benefit 😁
Huge thank you to EVERYONE that turned up and made it a memorable evening.
Huge thank you to the local businesses that supported: Chaiiwala Batley, Fouad Hachemi, Zahoor Sakharkar & Spices & Rices.
Huge thank you to the supporters and sponsors:
🎗️ Moduliv Limited (Saadat Khan)
🎗️ West Yorkshire Combined Authority
Huge thank you to Nasar Hussain for the personal support.
Huge thank you to the BEC members that had the courage to stand up and speak on stage.
And a massive thank you to ALL the volunteers & helpers. I fear missing someone out as there were so many, so won't name drop. But without you, these nights just cannot happen, and make it so much easier when it's hectic and mind is all over the place. 👏🏽
We've got a long way to go, but yesterday was a giant step forward 💪🏽
#ThisIsBatley

My boys wanted to watch SpongeBob at the cinema.
I’m like, I ain’t going to the cinema to watch no SpongeBob.
Convinced them to watch Avatar instead 🙌🏽
Not even 30 minutes in, the older one keeps looking at his watch saying when is this finishing (3 hour+ movie you know)
Got so bored he’s just wriggling around in his seat. Got the straw and starts tapping it against the plastic cup holder disturbing everyone. Huffs and puffs his way through.
The younger one starts crying because he found it too scary.
Not the win I thought it was.
Then came the kicker:
“When you taking us to watch SpongeBob” 😭
Bad selfish decision making never works out.
I don’t like to get political, esp. in this climate.
But the conversation went that way on the podcast I did with Ranjha Saab.
My response to the plethora of challenges we face today is to:
Build.
Build character.
Build career.
Build people.
Build society.
Build athletes.
Build projects.
Build business.
Build education.
Build community.
Most importantly, build yourself.
So that you can then be of service to building others.
But also automatically act as a role model in the process to guide the next generation to follow suit.
Complaining. Hate. Division. Negativity. Victimhood.
These are all ingredients that do the opposite of building.
Which is why my tolerance for them is very low.
That’s not to undermine or downplay the issues we clearly have.
But to encourage an action-based response in dealing with them; which everyone has the capacity to play a part in.
The most anticipated trailer of the year is here! 😁
We started off with just a poster.
Which turned into a motion teaser.
Which has now become a full blown trailer.
Yes this is me test-driving different aspects of AI.
What can now be accomplished sitting in your bedroom as a hobby is phenomenal.
If this is beginner level work, what will expert level look like?!
Only people in Batley will notice more than others.
But here’s a challenge:
Can you guess the correct sequence of all the real places used in this trailer?
All right answers will be put inside a draw, with prizes for the selected winners. (I need to work out what those are yet, but free tickets to the event will be one).
Too much complaining in the UK is creating a sordid environment.
Whilst this video is spoofing around; there are some real challenges that need to be addressed.
Otherwise the future begins to look bleak for all and the younger gen.
Which in turn breeds a “what’s the point doing anything” attitude.
That needs knocking on its head.
Which is why we put together the Batley Entrepreneurship Club events we do.
And which is why you need to attend at the end of this month:
📅 Friday 30th January 2026
🕕 6pm

The Teaser. Full trailer coming very soon 😁
I have a lot of fun dabbling with AI - away from just using ChatGPT.
Last time we created a poster. This time we’ve animated it.
For the trailer, gone and done a little more, just needs some final touches.
But there’s a reason for learning AI - it’s a future-proofing skill that’s only going to become more prevalent.
Especially when it comes to media, which is now an important component for every business and person regardless of industry.
Said it before, I’ll say it again; we will be seeing a lot of one-person businesses functioning like a team of 5-10 thanks to AI.
Err’one should be using some free time to experiment with it.
With that said, stay tuned for an exclusive BEC-AI announcement that’s currently in the pipeline, and one I’m really excited about.
For now though, make sure you’re booked on for an eagerly anticipated event at the end of the month:

How many times should you post content?
We went from 3-5 times a day to 20-30 times a day.
Sack what you hear online.
You do what you can given your individual capacity.
If you can do 2 x a week do that.
If you can do 30 a day then so it.
The main thing is to do it for the full year and beyond.
Most start enthusiastically, then can’t keep up, then quit.
Don’t let that be you.
TikTok is inception - content on here will seep into your mind and pop out when you least expect it.
The Dr Pepper tune has been ringing in my head since I saw that viral video.
That’s the power of branding and jingles.
It’s also the power of posting videos online.
It takes just one to pop off to change the trajectory of your life.
However far too many are still afraid of judgment and visibility.
Putting yourself out there can be daunting; you just have to get over this hurdle.
Get the support you need. Send me a message.
I aged early because of stress.
Firstly from the misery of being stuck in a job and career I legit hated.
Then starting a business and becoming a father at the same time.
One is difficult as it is, both together was, in hindsight, reckless.
However social media wasn’t what it is now back then.
There are so many opportunities and pathways; so much guidance available.
It’s now about execution.
Executing for a couple of years will open up so many options, to prevent regret for your older self.
Haters will say it’s fake.
Real G’s will know Batley is Box-Office Broadway…
…and so will register here:

The anonymous feedback received for the Content & Personal Branding workshop recently delivered was very good.
The recording is now available, which is available to all here:

Not sure how they do their studies, but it’s a travesty that Batley wasn’t on this list 😁
Not to worry, the happiest place to live in Britain is still a YORKSHIRE town.
And you can come to get a taste when we have our next exclusive Batley Entrepreneurship Club event:

Last year I was 19, this year I’ll be turning 40.
Wtf is going on and how did this happen?!
Wasn’t going to post this on NOSTR, but the comments on TikTok were lively 😂
So much so that I’ve just been given so many content ideas, lessons & experiences to make more videos on.
Anyhow, to the 40+’s - how old are you really?! 😁
Real art contains so much depth.
The gents at Artz-I Islamic Gallery in Bradford shared some interesting thoughts about this particular piece created with a knife.
Artists may have historically struggled to make a living from their work.
The creator economy we have today changes all of that.
You can legitimately make a living income from your work, whether that’s paintings, music or whatever else.
This is the part of social media way more people need to tap into.
It doesn’t mean it’s easy.
But the path is there.
Create art.
Document the journey online.
Sell.
Not every side hustle, project or business needs to be AI, tech, professional services, food and the usual things people go into.
If you were not held back by your job, what creative hobby would you spend your time on?
One of my regrets was never starting to learn the violin even though I loved the sound of it.
Smashed out last gym session of 2025.
I thought the gym would be empty. It was not.
Great to see.
Strong finish to the year gym-wise. Need to maintain for the whole of next year.
Unlike most, I’m still very positive and optimistic about the UK, espesh because of the people I now come across working hard and making things happen.
Wishing you all a happy new year.
Whether people like to admit it or not, this is the biggest thing holding them back.
Don’t let that be you.
Make 2026 the year you stop caring what people think.
Get after it.
🗣️It’s New Year’s Eve, let’s take a day off.
Nah, let’s send out one more email.
Let’s send out one more post.
Truth be told, I wasn’t feeling it.
I was in the new year’s holiday mode.
But also knew it was the best time to send out another push, esp. with the early bird discount ending.
And voila, the signups have been comin’ in.
Still a few hours left for you to be part of the smart crew, and grab your early bird ticket before it’s too late.
Crazy to think Batley Entrepreneurship Club started with 3 people turning up on the first meeting.
Now we gather crowds of 100+ alhamdulillah.
Much work to do however, we’re nowhere near where we want to be, but the foundation has been laid this year to build upon in 2026 and beyond iA.
