Funny how life changes you— Things I once loved, I now dislike, and things I couldn’t stand, I’ve started to like. Even my food and habits have switched sides. 😅 image

Don’t Believe Everything You Hear: My Experience at Civil Hospital Karachi When my husband injured his foot, the situation became serious enough that surgery was required. Like any concerned family member, I started asking people for advice about where to go. Almost everyone suggested Civil Hospital in Karachi, as it is one of the largest government hospitals. However, along with the recommendation came many warnings. People told me that government hospitals do not provide proper care, that doctors are careless, and that patients often have to wait endlessly for surgeries. Hearing all this made me anxious and unsure. I was worried about my husband’s treatment and whether we were making the right decision. Despite all the negative comments, we decided to visit Civil Hospital ourselves. And honestly, my experience there was completely different from what I had been told. From the moment we arrived, the doctors were incredibly cooperative. They listened carefully, explained everything clearly, and treated us with kindness and respect. The entire staff was supportive and attentive. Instead of feeling neglected, we felt cared for and reassured throughout the process. This experience taught me a very important lesson: we should not blindly believe everything we hear from others. Rumors and assumptions can often be far from reality. What truly matters is what we see and experience ourselves. I would encourage everyone to keep an open mind and not judge a place based only on hearsay. Sometimes, the truth is much better than the stories we are told. image

Not Every Blessing Is the Same In our society, many people believe that having children means they have everything. They take pride in it, sometimes even to the point of as if it is a personal achievement rather than a blessing from God. What hurts more is that those who do not have children are often made to feel incomplete. Careless words, small taunts, and insensitive jokes can deeply wound a heart that is already carrying silent pain. People forget that not everyone’s journey is the same, and not every silence needs to be questioned. In my opinion, having children is not something to be proud of — what truly matters is having children who are respectful, kind, and obedient. I have seen people who have children, yet they live in sadness because their children do not value them or listen to them. Sometimes, in their pain, they even say that they would have been better off without children. This shows that the real blessing is not just “having” but “how they turn out.” True pride lies not in quantity, but in character. image

Overthinking plays a very deep role in our daily life, often creating problems that don’t even exist in reality. We keep thinking again and again about small things, turning them into something big in our minds. Because of this habit, we are unable to truly enjoy our happy moments. Even when life gives us reasons to smile, our thoughts pull us back into worry and doubt. Sometimes, this constant thinking brings a strange kind of restlessness inside us. Our mind never feels calm, and our heart feels heavy without any clear reason. Instead of living in the present, we get lost in “what ifs” and “what could happen.” And slowly, this overthinking steals our peace, making even a simple life feel complicated. image

Jealousy vs Gratitude I have seen people who are blessed with everything—family, wealth, and a successful life—yet they still feel jealous when someone with less receives even a small blessing. Instead of being grateful, they question, “How did they get this?” But in reality, everything is part of Allah’s distribution. We should never object to His decisions; instead, we should learn to be thankful for what we have and be happy for others. image

Life Is Never the Same: From Rise to Fall and Back Again The image of a young hand gently holding an aged one speaks volumes without saying a word. It captures the quiet truth of life — that nothing remains the same forever. Time changes everything. Youth turns into old age, strength softens into fragility, and moments slip into memories. Life is a journey of constant change. There are times when everything feels perfect — when success, happiness, and energy surround us. This is what we call arooj (rise). But just as naturally, there comes zawal (decline). Challenges appear, losses happen, and we find ourselves in phases we never expected. This cycle is not a punishment; it is the very nature of life. No condition is permanent. The struggles we face today may become the wisdom we carry tomorrow. Similarly, the joy we experience now should be cherished, because it too is temporary. This balance between rise and fall teaches us humility in success and patience in hardship. The young hand in the image reminds us of beginnings — full of dreams and possibilities. The older hand reflects experience — a life lived through ups and downs. Together, they tell a powerful story: life moves forward, and every stage has its own beauty. Instead of fearing change, we should learn to embrace it. When we are at our peak, we should remain grounded. And when we are at our lowest, we should remember that this phase will also pass. In the end, life is not about staying at the top forever — it is about learning, growing, and appreciating every moment along the way. Because truly, life is short… image

Not everyone who reaches out is trying to lift you up.” “Some help comes with hidden intentions.” “Be careful—sometimes the hand that reaches you isn’t there to save you.” “Not all help is genuine—trust wisely.” “Sometimes, what looks like help is just control in disguise.” Want it more deep, savage, or motivational?
