Mya King Rootz is a reggae band from the islands of Vanuatu, established by students in 2019. The name roughly translates to “I am a king because of my roots.” It is inspired by the values of Christianity and culture. Founded by Joe Obed and Diego Wabak, the band aspires to give people hope and remind them of their identity and value.
