Just had an interesting conversation with my father who was shocked that I would be willing to use lethal force on someone who threatened the well being of my wife or children. I can't think of any more justifiable reason to use deadly force. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised considering that his wife left him and his other children don't talk to him... but here I am. Shout out to all the other husbands and fathers. We're breaking generational chains by loving and protecting our families! God Bless.

Feeling under the weather today so I stayed home from church. As the family was heading out, my youngest son came up to me in bed and said "daddy, I want you to come with us to class (church)". I came downstairs a little while later and found my oldest sitting on the couch, notebook and bible open, watching the service live stream. He wanted to stay home in case I needed some help. I am blessed beyond measure to lead this family. God is good, now and forever.

I've definitively noticed an increase in the cost of ammunition over the last several months. Last year I bought a ton of 9mm and 22 LR, a little bit of 5.56. Paid around $205 delivered to my door per case of 9mm, and under $400 for a case of 5.56. Now basic FMJ 9mm is around $250/case and the 5.56 is around $450. Checked 12 gauge ammo as well, up about 30cpr. Moral of the story: stack it deep and stack it cheap! Applies to precious metals, ammo, and of course bitcoin as well.
