Decentralization will win whenever the average npc realizes his shepherd isn’t as clever as he thought he was initially. The only way this phenomenon can occur is if most systems start failing and life becomes harder. The longer they can keep these scams afloat the longer centralization will remain. The tragedy in all of this is that the npc needs to feel hunger and pain in order to reach enlightenment (is that even possible for an npc?)while our types don’t. We are not reactive like them. Whats our tragedy? What is the tragedy of the enlightened ones? It’s simply viewing all of this and being affected by it all. We suffer at the hands of both the npc and his shepherd. Our environment gets polluted and our lives are spent on building parallel systems to counter their collective stupidity. Our air and food turns into poison and our average interaction with our fellow human being turns into a transaction instead of spiritual love. Or our lives are spent on segregating ourselves from their stupidity, so much time and energy spent on avoiding. Simply even knowing about them is tragic for us. One can’t simply segregate himself from all of this. And I think the enlightened ones know if we don’t make moves to build and promote parallel system then we’re going to drown with them too. And what’s more tragic than a Lion suffering at the hands of a pack of hyenes?
