One of the biggest problems with Nostr is the overwhelming amount of scammers and spammers sharing illegal content and abusing unrelated hashtags with that content. For new users on most nostr apps it's extremely off-putting and why nostr has such a serious problem with user retention. But one client I have noticed is different, BCH nostr, their main feed is the #bitcoincash hashtag, and this note that I'm writing will be visible to them because I used it. But in all the scrolling I've done on their client i haven't seen one single piece of illegal media, not a single scammer sharing telegram links. If you view the hashtags on other clients it looks like any other hashtag for of spam. Instead of facing the issue and dealing with it like BCH nostr has most people just want to pretend it doesn't exist, or they do stuff like this, asking you to "prove it" and by sharing the stuff you have also broken the law, then after trying to trick you into breaking the law they tell you to report it to the authorities.
