We don’t use any poly fabrics - all cotton or natural materials. I didn’t always think this way though. In the early days, I actually wanted to make a cotton / poly blend. But then my teacher showed me the way, and once she pointed out that it felt like plastic (something that I just didn’t think about or feel at the time), I couldn’t go back 💀
Daily rant - about making western shirts in America and how a small brand like ours gets impacted by tariffs.
WE FIGHT ON 🫡
Anyone in Chicago?
You can now find West Major at Ford General.
Awesome store that carries a bunch of great menswear brands.
Go check it out if you’re in the area (and ask to try on West Major 😉)

I hope one day we can get millions of men this excited about wearing a nice quality western shirt

Oxford - but western 🤘

Something we’re going to test / attempt later this year - that none of the other western shirt companies are doing.
REMOVABLE COLLAR STAYS

One of my favorite shirts to wear is our indigo denim. Organic cotton and dyed with real indigo - it starts out dark, uniform and feels structured - it fades and softens and turns into a shirt that feels like has been worn for decades and radiates nothing but great energy (in my opinion)
Question for anyone that’s checked out my website (www.westmajor.com) -
Have you ever looked at a shirt, looked at buying a shirt, and hit a snag? Be it the size chart is unclear, you feel unsure how it fits based off the photos, something feels slow, etc?
I want to make some design updates to the site, and I know buying clothes online is hard. I’m so in the weeds - I know there’s probably obvious stuff I might be missing.
If anything stands out - if you ever almost purchased but didn’t - please let me know why! I want to make the experience as seamless and easy as possible. So we can keep growing, and keep making western shirts in America

Love or hate em, Palantir has gone viral recently in the apparel space for making cool gear / merch. They do “drops” almost like an apparel brand. Some of their hoodies are being resold on eBay for $200-$300.
I think there’s a cool movement / opportunity for brands to make really awesome merch and products. For their own store, for employees, or for vendors as gifts. Imagine going to conference, and instead of getting a pen with some companies name on it, you get a premium 100% cotton American made western shirt, with your logo chainstitched above the pocket 😆
We recently got an opportunity to pitch UT on making them something custom American-made western shirts (we’re still waiting to hear back), but I wanted to share a few photos from the deck I made with some concepts.
If anyone here is interested in some custom American made western shirts for their organization- let me know! We can make you something badass that no one else has, and no one will throw away.

It’s almost time for a new ironing board

Thinking about adding some removable collar stays to our shirts.
I was looking at all of my old and favorite vintage western shirts the other day, and was noticing how they all have collar stays (sewn into the collar).
This was an idea I had when I first started years ago, and just kind of forgot about it. Until this week.
Could be a cool detail, that pays homage to the originals, would add nice shape to the collar, and I don’t see other western shirts companies doing today.
What do you think?

Our Desert Chore Coat - it’s taken me years, but finally found the right people and figured out how to make these at scale in Arizona, and the quality great, and only getting better.

Ending the year on a high note. If anyone’s been watching the new Landman Season 2 - the shirt Cooper (Jacob Lofland) is wearing throughout episode 4 is a custom West Major shirt we made for the show.
Taylor Sheridan came across our brand through a store that carries us in Fort Worth (he loved it). That led to his team reaching out, and asked us to make them some shirts for the show.
First time seeing one of our pieces on the big screen. Pretty awesome.
Thank you to everyone that’s supported us this year - we sold a record number of shirts, grew and learned a lot.
We’re doing something almost none of these other western brands are doing - which is sewing our shirts in America. It’s not easy, and we appreciate everyone that’s been riding with us.
We’re running it back in 2026, and have some exciting things in the works. HAPPY NEW YEAR 🤘🌵
