Day 42: I have committed to moving on to the Sierras. We were going to hang tight and do a lot of day hikes to keep our legs strong, but have ultimately decided to press on. The snow seems to be melting, but we are still at the front of the pack. We will move a bit slower the next 150 miles. I was able to buy new shoes and an Ice Axe. Onwards!
