🚀 CasaBitcoin Santa Ana keeps growing! We started back in August '24 with a simple goal: bring Bitcoin to the local community. @Wallet of Satoshi as well as a former Santa Ana resident believed in our mission and gratefully donated to us. With this donation, we were able to host a 12-class workshop over 2 months with 30 community members and small business owners. Each participant received $30 over the⚡network, which allowed them to see the sat-flow in their wallets and gave them some juice to transact with each other. Meanwhile, a broader network of over 70 indirect participants emerged — friends, companies and curious neighbors. 📲 The logical next step in the learning journey? Self-custody. That’s why we decided to invest in hardware wallets to enable our community to start saving securely. We purchased 80 KeepKey hardware wallets to start this journey. And here comes the big news: @KeepKey, on 24 May 2025, gave us an incredible donation of sats, SWAG and 50 more hardware wallets for us to give to our active community members! 🧡 We’ll be posting pictures, stories and testimonials from the recipients to enrich the educational process and promote financial education and self-sovereignty. 💥 Stay tuned, this is just getting started!
