#help #noob I’m really not this bad at tech. Im just not getting the Nostr UI, like at all. I think I understand a great deal. Maybe I’m trying/signing up for too many clients/relays or whatever other services there are. Here’s just one small example I just don’t get - I’ve followed probably 50 people over a week on Primal client on iOS, however, it always defaults back after a time to me following 7? Is it something with a cache setting? There’s more not anyone know why I’m getting to supposedly only follow 7? (Oh yeah I guess just as an aside - do Nostr clients strip Exif from images?). I tend to do this manually sometimes when i don’t know but if Nostr takes it on that’s great) - behold the magnificent 7.

My name is Matt and I represent BLOCKS (Bitcoin Learning Outreach Creating Knowledgeable Students). About me. - I teach Business Computer Information Systems, Accounting, Management, and Logistics, full time at a local community college here in San Antonio. I became interested in Bitcoin relatively recently (late 2022). After almost two years of increasingly intense study and interest I began a “Bitcoin Club” at my school last August using the same name as here (BLOCKS). As the advisor of a new, emerging, student club, I was puzzling over and struggling with putting together as many activities and instructional materials I could find when I came across “Mi Primer Bitcoin” (English version) and was amazed at the quality of available educational resources and network of like-minded groups and individuals Mi Primer Bitcoin offers. I reached out, applied, and was accepted very recently as a “light node” for the organization. One of the resources/communication channels recommended by the group is NOSTR so here I begin. My hope is that, in large part because of numerous personal and professional contacts related to my job, I can help my students, my school, the Alamo community, (and eventually beyond) learn about and appreciate the amazing gift Satoshi Nakamoto gave to the world not so many years ago. I look forward to expanding knowledge, establishing contacts, and collaborating with others here on this platform (I am brand new to NOSTR and all things related to the protocol but will try to get up to speed quickly). #introduction
