Troy is still one of those films that just hits different.
Achilles just might be the greatest warrior ever put on film, but Hector is the one you actually respect in the film. Achilles fights like a weapon too arrogant. Hector fights like a man with a country, a family, a king, and a duty on his shoulders. He knows he probably can’t beat Achilles, but he still walks out there because his honor is bigger than his fear.
And honestly, that’s why Troy has held up so well.
