Finlands stagnation Finnish people and policymakers refuse to acknowledge this chart. It is still hard to believe we were once on top of the world with Nokia, best education on the planet, best healthcare and one of the safest places. The we chose to become Europe social welfare office. High taxes, labour market from 1960’s and addiction to government solutions. Entrepreneurship spirit has died completely here. There is zero “Sisu” anymore just dependency. How will Finns explain and cope with this humiliation when Chechia, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland will surpass?
