Studies and experiments ongoing: country music, math, hollering, linux. Machine gunning green tea daily. No plans for a honky tonk yet, but there's still time. -MGMT HWSC

The Hot Wax is proud to present this first run of original artwork. Featured are a vinyl record, a reusable stamp, and 2 drawings of the mascot in pen and ink. The artist has requested time to decide how they wish to be credited (update to follow). We are stoked! 🕯️ -MGMT HWSC

The Guerilla Council (GC) is the Club committee for pranks. They named themselves. We suggested the Jester Court, but here we are. -MGMT HWSC

Pillars of the Hot Wax Club I. Study the Tapes (preservation of musical tradition, shoulders of giants) II. Cultural Exchange (seeing the 'folk' in every genre) III. A Great Tree (the inheritance of influence) IV. Sharing Fruit (living in good music) V. Render Unto the Metal Gods (identify one's musical heritage) VI. Sovereign Creativity (the ability to sustain a vision) VII. Sculptures from Echoes (the craft, and relationships with muses) VIII. A Clubhouse (home is where you make it) IX. The Wax (art as a commodity versus a store of value) X. Chair Maintenance (challenging our relationships with objects) Each pillar is approx. of equal weight. New pillars will be documented as they are erected.

An early draft of The Club Hymn (date unknown) " (Conductor states simply, 'Crank It') There are hallowed halls of echoes Bound by records bold as love And I find our finest Hot Wax Has the loudest ones of all To the Club, pray us worthy And our fire will know no shade We open up our hearts to thee The HWS & the C May the Club have sons and daughters And they leave her righteous wing Having touched the woven fabric And bore fruit upon the tree To the Club, pray us worthy And our fire will know no shade We open up our hearts to thee The HWS & the C " -Anon (date unknown)
