Does Nostr have any sort of protocol for disappearing notes or messages? It would be cool to be able to post what I've been up to without it being forever available to everyone. It's been a while since I've looked through the Nostr protocol but I don't remember seeing anything like this. It would be cool to have something similar to the concept of stories or disappearing posts like you see on other social media platforms. I understand not all relays and clients will necessarily respect it, just as some don't respect or recieve deletion requests but most do and therefore its good enough in my eyes #nostr #nostrprotocol #asknostr

Does anyone remember the piracy advert at the start of all those DVDs? Turns out both the font and music for that video were pirated. How ironic is that!! Someone was talking to me about adverts that show up in the middle of media on paid streaming services the other day and I was saying how DVDs are so much better. They used to have adverts at the start but you could always skip them. We ended up talking about that piracy advert and it reminded me that the advert ended up being part of a lawsuit. Anyways I think more people should know about this so I decided to post it on the worlds most popular social media platform, Nostr!

Looks like there's no clients that can undo/ delete a repost on Nostr. I accidentally reposted a book signing because just as my thumb was about to make contact with the reboost button the video from the post above loaded which expanded the post above and caused its reboost button the be right underneath my thumb :/ Its a hard life 😂

How cool would it be to have the ability to zap people in Signal messenger or Matrix. They'll never implement it but I love the idea. For instance my friend just did me a favour and I wanted to zap them but I couldn't. I might investigate into whether Matrix can support this through third-party integrations. I can code a bot to pick up on reactions and zap from a sandboxed wallet at the very least. The issue is getting my friends on the lightning network xD
