Many of you have reached out to us recently to express your thanks and your desire for things to continue. It is precisely from this sentiment that something new has emerged. What has grown here is here to stay: a community—a cross-generational gathering place for people who view electronic music not merely as something to listen to, but as a cultural space. Born of this idea, we now present the: OMEN CONTINUUM CLUB NIGHT. A new, long-term format bridging club culture, the present, the archive, and the future of electronic music. Together with DJ Frank Lorber and a rotating lineup of guests—spanning Frankfurt roots and contemporary club culture—we are creating a platform that blends club nights, live performances, archival elements, discourse, and community. It is rooted in the history of OMEN while remaining open to the new perspectives of contemporary club culture. Not a revival. But a continuous movement of electronic culture. The light jockeys of OMEN Being a light jockey at the OMEN was real hands-on work – and a seriously physical job. The entire lighting rig was controlled 100% manually: the neon tubes via a heavy metal keyboard, the strobe with a foot switch, and all the effects with toggle switches. That style of working demanded an insane amount of focus and precision because the light show had to stay perfectly in sync with the beat and every individual sound element. The targeted use of light, fog, and effects let you directly shape the vibe of the room.
