This is how you work out whether a particular year is a leap year:
On every year that is divisible by 4 with no remainder.
Except every year that is divisible by 100 with no remainder.
Unless the year is also divisible by 400 with no remainder
2100 is 19 4-year cycles from now and will be a halving year, but not a leap year.
All your models are broken.

Well. Just learned a lesson the hard way:
Set up a Sparrow wallet with a 24 word seed and a passphrase.
Turns out, if you type in the passphrase incorrectly, it changes the seed of the wallet you're looking at.
And if you send money to that wallet with the incorrect seedphrase, you just lost that coin if you don't know how you mistyped your seedphrase. ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ
Pass it on so others can learn from my mistake the easy way.

This Blackrock thing makes me think that Coinbase is going to be acquired by Blackrock in some way, shape, or form. Why would they choose Coinbase in their ETF filing with the SEC so soon after the SEC lawsuit filing against Coinbase?

Still a newb (learning C++), but I find this argument very persuasive.
Any devs out there have a counterpoint or something to add?

I'm just going to leave this here.

Someone tries to release a rare virus to take advantage of the fact that they have the vaccine and produced millions of doses in anticipation.

Want to get away from Windows, but aren't ready for a Linux distro? Here's another option. It's Windows minus all the crap. It's actually legal. And it's FOSS.
I'm putting together a gaming PC that I was going to use SteamOS on, but I'll give this a shot first. If it's as useful as it seems, I'll put it on my low-power laptop and turn that into a BTC node, Nostr relay, and cloud server. Then the PC can be my home workstation/gaming rig, Samsung Z Fold my mobile/tablet, and I'll have my own cloud storage that's not controlled and viewed by anybody but me.

Watching #[0] talk to the onrampbitcoin.com folks on TFTC, and had a thought somewhat unrelated to what they're building:
Institutional and government adoption of Bitcoin can't be trustless. They have to use a multisig trust model. Just like individuals can cross borders with 12-24 words memorized, someone can leave the office of that organization with the keys memorized.
Long term, they won't get away with it, because it's still an open distributed ledger, and you can always follow the money to an endpoint. The endpoints involve people, and people can be coerced to give them up. But that organization would still be screwed until that happens.
OnRamp's business model is for High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) who aren't ready for self custody (orange pilled, but not educated enough), but can do so when they are ready.
