• Introduced the first in-app, self-custodial Bitcoin gifting experience—complete with shareable links and QR codes, refundability if unclaimed, notes, and built-in gift management
• Added flexible gift expiration options (up to 180 days)
• Made privacy the default, keeping balances and transactions hidden from public explorers
• Expanded the platform with Rootstock support
• Rolled out instant contact payments, payment requests, and gift cards
• Streamlined onboarding to get new users from zero to first payment in under 30 seconds
• Launched the Blitz recovery platform
• Began building the Blitz web app

Spark recently introduced the ability to hide balances and transactions from Spark explorers, boosting outward-facing privacy. We’ve fully integrated this and enabled it by default — with no configuration needed. Every Blitz user now gets stronger privacy right out of the box.
Creating new Bitcoin experiences is what we do best. You can now create non-custodial gifts that are fully refundable after expiry, making it effortless to onboard new Bitcoiners without the fear of losing unclaimed sats. With receiver-only online requirements, claiming reliability is also close to 100%.
Say goodbye to the old settings layout. You can now edit and share your Blitz profile more easily, and navigate your configurations without overload. Everything is clearer, cleaner, and easier to find at a glance.
Under the hood, we resolved a broad set of issues to improve stability, rendering, and overall app performance. The experience should feel noticeably smoother.
