To whoever bought the lot of 342 baseball photos from the Exhibit Supply Company Archives in April 2003, if you could start selling some, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks. image

Can't afford a Mikan RC? Maybe you can snag a Mikan rookie year program instead from the 1946-1947 season. This one was offered for sale in March 2000, but I don't know what it closed for. Mears sold a rougher-conditioned one for $159 in December 2000. Maybe $400ish today? image

This 1959 Topps Football Jerry Kramer Signed RC is available in Lelands Fall Pop-Up auction. Perhaps 5 inscriptions are a few too many? image

This "Professional Basketball" Arcade Game from the '30s/'40s looks fun; 5 shots for a penny! The original glass front was replaced, which I think originally had some graphics. image

There are two kinds of hobby articles I’ll always share: ones about 1952 Topps and ones about card backs. This one’s from the Summer ’91 Topps Magazine—a fun look at 40 years of stats, bios, quizzes, and cartoons on “The Flip Side,” written by Jeff Kiss. image

A couple of months ago, I shared an ad for the 1976-77 HRT/RES 1947 Bowman baseball card set; Ted Taylor and Bob Schmierer rode that momentum and released a 1942 Play Ball set shortly thereafter. image

I've been researching salesman samples for a long-form piece for quite a while, so I was thrilled to find this 1955 Bowman example featuring Willie Mays in Mastro's November 1999 catalog. It sold for $1,093. image

I recently republished a piece titled 'Collecting Bobby Thomson and The Shot Heard Round The World Game,' but I missed something! In the spring of 1992, Topps Magazine gave away 25 1991 Bowman "The Shot" cards signed by Thomson and Branca. image

Do you have a favorite "other" player from famous rookie cards? Can't think of any? Well, Jon Brecka broke down some of the best in this great piece from the August 1995 issue of Trading Cards Magazine. image
