What I love about Nostr is the wide array of choices of Free and Open-Source client apps for Android, Linux, and other OSes. No need to depend on any app store; experienced users can compile most Nostr apps from source code and make modifications when desired. Not to mention some apps go beyond blogging and microblogging, and those include direct messaging and marketplaces.
