Is there a reason why this place which is completely anonymous and has very little real world consequence so much civil than "actual" social media like Twitter and Insta. Guess it speaks to the kind of people it attracts I suppose.

This place is a labyrinth with nothing much and a lot of suffering. Delusion is ride at the frontiers. We have been living in unprecedented times. Now things revert back to the dark ages.

There are so many humans with so many thoughts, just as I have, every single day. I am completely cowed to think a hundred people like that exist, let alone a hundred thousand but the truth is much more grander than that. The whole truth is. That kind of knowledge makes you feel small, but in truth very few have this knowledge. Know that with sufficient quantity all kinds of qualities disappear. existence only mere existence remains.

Where the heck does the storage and data go on these things? With the latency I experience here I don't belive there is a way to achieve it without some kind of centralization. Anyone clear enough about the way #nostr works as opposed to Mastodon and Bluesky?
