My brother, who runs a business that does a big event in a few weeks, with lots of cash and change given to customers, is having a hard time getting coins from the bank. They said it'd be a couple weeks for the quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies he needs to properly provide his customers change for purchases. The push to CBDC is happening on all sides.

People seem to like #bitcoin #charts. What do you think of my Red Light/Green Light lazy long term buy-sell chart? I'm basically a HODLer and I don't pay attention really anymore, except I do watch the green areas for alerts to "DCA" back in with any liquidity I've got, and the red areas as an opportunity to exit, if desired. An area of interest coming up is when the blue trend line crosses the 1.00 mark, I expect a mid-cycle reversal. We're at 0.91 now. Nov '15 -36%, Jun '19 -34%. I've never traded it personally, but I'm eager to see how it plays out. I might buy some $BITI inside the IRA for a short term trade in the next 2 weeks. I'll post an update on results.

The neighbor was doing a new build and was using the yard as a dumping area. What a mess. The equipment made a mess of the yard and a new knee wall and foundation support wall were in the cards. #RenovatingCottages

A couple rafters needed a little TLC, so we sistered some steel that was equivalent to the original strength of the wood. Straight as an arrow now and sufficient for snow load. #RenovatingCottages

We pulled the half of the floor joists and added some knee walls to turn the old attic space into a mezzanine loft above the living room. A full 2nd story lift was just too expensive of an option. #RenovatingCottages

Oof, the floors were pretty out of level in the rear addition, a new foundation was put here at some point but the floors were not brought up to level. Sleepers of 3" in the back, tapered to 0 with new 3/4" plywood all around. I was going to use advantech tongue and groove, but this was at the peak of COVID wood pricing and they were over $100 a sheet and the renovation is on a fixed budget (mostly....)
