Unfortunately most women when it comes to mentality are closer to babies, they are immature by nature excactly because they have to take care of babies... And they expect men/husband to take care of them too... With me is completely different story and I'll tell you why: as a grown up children of alcoholic you have to constantly be aware of parents mood to spot danger... to say it more simply... defend yourself or siblings or mom or whatever... So your awareness goes "outside"... Too long topic to discuss but I understand this post... 😁

About alkohol and excuses: I've seen kids in the UK who said they ancestors came from Eastern Europe (Poland) therefore they drink alkohol bc it's in their "blood". Do you understand there are people in Poland (or Eastern Europe) who are literally children of alcoholics and they don't drink nothing at all for that very reason...? These excuses are weak and pathetic😁 It's your choice, always had been and you are stronger than you think.

I need to find a specialist with medical degree, preferably in hormones and women's cycle specialisations to get to know more about it. Anyone? Many women feel guilty that they sleep "too much" around cycle. Or don't sleep enough or go to bed at the same time, especially around ovulation. Of course not, ovulation in man's 24h cycle is the "morning", it's the "prime": I don't need much sleep, I can fast easy, I am creative and quite productive. Who would say to man - this is your prime (morning to 12 o'clock?) go to sleep... no one. (Ok, maybe Italians😁) We don't operate in 24h testosterone driven cycles.
