My psychology always tricks me into thinking, that things are more difficult than they really are. But also I always underestimate how long will it take to do a task. So I have to remind myself that things are easy, but always take longer than expected.

It appears to me sometimes, that all language and words in writing are a kind of magical spell. Think about it: someone keeps wanting you to believe one thing or another, making claims, invoking imagery. Which of your belifs are exclusively based on texts? Isn't it strange that a text got you to that place, while none of your actual senses pointed in that direction? I wonder what would happen if a person went on a one month long fast of no language, no text. Only senses. I think that would have a unique effect of grounding you in reality.
