Not even an evening coffee is gonna keep me awake tonight. Been so tired lately. Doesn't help that was I giving it at work today on the press. I was basically hanging off a bearing press fitting 1 1/2" compression lock washers for a couple hours during the start of the day.

Not entirely into pop music, but she has some talent! Hayley Williams - Parachute It's quite a solid tune from the start to the end. Epic songwriting. I first heard it when she sang it with Dallas Green. #musicstr #music #newmusic

What percentage of big banks are buying #BTC to quantize their assets from the fiat they are manipulating? How big of a key role do they have in such a scenario? In suggesting how I worded this is because that is exactly what they are doing. The re-distribution of fiat when a person uses/deposits a monetary insertion. I've always had that question. And whether they can manipulate BTC enough to influence a direction to manipulate in their favour. #bitcoin #btc #fiat #banking #satoshi #sats

@Efrat Fenigson Hey, I just want to say thank you for aligning your energy towards these YouTube podcasts. They're re-opening my mind, I am commenting under my real name. But man, so many people who are open-minded in what I totally agree on. I'm that blue-collar, multi-national worker in your last comment you had on YouTube. I just wish there was a *better* platform than YouTube. In terms of better, I mean totally off Google but with the community. I guess Nostr has the ability, but yeah. Thanks again for the videos. You are truly blessed.

There's just going to be more and more censorship between large corporations, entities, and major governance. It's basically time to get off the blue bird, and get your followers here on #nostr. Shit is just going to get worse from here. Grotesque manipulation and corruption. It's all about control. Fuck the system. I learned this when I was stuck in Hawaii during pre-divorce a few years ago. I got sent money, my bank was frozen. I had to cuss at the clerk to get them to unfreeze my money so I could eat. They don't care. I'll never use a large entity for banking ever again

Tonight was the first time I made a #vegan meat alternative. Loosely following a recipe, I made what looks like sausages. The mix is more crumbly than dense, like pork sausage consistency. But because of the spice mix, it tastes like chicken. Spice mixes: Dehydrated veggie spice mix, veg boullion, sage, garlic, onion, tomato paste, red wine vinegar, dehydrated mushroom granules. The Vital Wheat Gluten(80%) and water ratio was 1:1. I could see myself eating it more than TOFU, TVP. #foodstr #cookstr #cooking #food #recipes #vegan #vegetarian

Played guitar for 4 hours today without bothering anyone. Enjoyment at its finest. Soon I will go to Strummer Fest to celebrate Joe Strummer and his music with local bands at a private club. #Music #TheClash #JoeStrummer #Punk

Somehow my #guitar is getting delivered today. It's Good Friday. I can't wait to play it.

Thursday is my Friday. Whew. Good Friday tomorrow feels totally odd. March went by really fast for me. Not really celebrating anything, don't really follow it anymore. I bought myself a guitar, it's arriving today. Pretty excited for that. It's one of those Donner acoustic silent guitars. It'll be nice to practice at any time of the day. #easter #guitar #acoustic

This year has been good so far. A couple things out of the ordinary. - Discovering #Nostr and its large ecosystem - Learning about #OpenCode and other No Code solutions which are far more expensive - More #creative endeavors, less bullshit in a world gone mad. Other than that, nothing else has been world changing besides trying to get to the west coast of Canada.

Darn, my trust rank went way down? Not sure why. #Nostria

hrm, #Nostria be zooming tonight. Faster than a britches wit. Now that #Debian is installed, I am using JamesDSP for system-wide EQ and audio effects. My ears have never been happier in a long time. It seems to work well, with a low system impedance. The system hasn't gotten slower, no CPU issues. Impressed. #Nostr #Nostriches

Debian 13 is such an upgrade especially for KDE. I loved Gnome2 from the beginning, couldn't stand Gnome3. Used Gnome Fallback or whatever for Gnome2 layout. Still wasn't the same but I put up with it. KDE is getting to be my favourite now that is full-featured. I want to try other DE variants from other distros now that Debian is the newest version. #linux #distro #debian

Fought a good fight with linux today. Trying to install Debian Trixie. I had Bookworm installed for a couple years. Finally took the plunge to reinstall for newstable. Getting stupid errors. I realized what I did to get the errors. Tried to boot up into a live environment to fix my issue and the USB imploded on me. So now I have no working laptop or install medium or USB drive. Since my tablet is dead I'll recharge that overnight to see if I can fix the USB drive or buy a new one and create another boot medium to reinstall on my laptop. Come to think about it, I didn't have an install medium to boot to last time and had to do the same thing with the tablet. Lmao My initial issue was creating a luks2 setup on my partitions in a way that isn't supported with the partitioner. Instead, creating ext4 partitions to encrypt with luks2. Another issue was that I created a /data mount point but you can't simply name one to encrypt during the installation process. Making one post-installation is easier. Tonight, I mostly fought myself over stupid semantics. I'm not sure why but I feel this is also partial to #enshittification. #linux #software #debian semantics image

Seeing Daniel Lanois numerous times at small and large venues and festivals around here has always been pretty cool, seeing him at Hollywood Bowl at Willie Nelson's, 90th birthday was also amazing. He sang with Emmylou Harris. The Maker. I believe Willie also released a DVD for the 2 day event.

Juno Awards this weekend. Debating whether I should go busk downtown. Also will definitely go to a few shows. The live band schedule is jam packed here. All the bars and music venues are going to be super busy from people all over the world. #JunoAwards #Junos #Canada #Music LiveMusic

Another Daniel Lanois tune for the night. Capture in the studio. Daniel Lanois - "Aquatic/Sonho Dourado/JJ Leaves L.A." (Live at WFUV) One of my favouite Ambient/Electro tunes is JJ Leaves LA. He's playing with Brian Blade here. One of the best Modern Jazz Drummers in the world. They work together quite a lot.Of course Jim Wilson on Bass/Synth. #Music #Ambient #Rock #Electro #Artstr #Canada
